Purchase via internet - fast and easy First time purchase using internet search engines (cargurus.com) to locate and identify the specific model of minivan we were looking for. Having identified the van we wanted to purchase, I then had to deal with the nearly three hour drive to get it. I was extremely hesitant about driving this far for such a large purchase. Think about every horror story regarding car sales you can think of: "It was sold right before you got here", "It was sold, but we have this slightly higher cost model available", "Sorry the price we quoted wasn't accurate", "Sorry, but your credit application wasn't processed", etc. Everything that would have made the nearly six hour round trip a disaster. BUT, that was NOT my experience. I arrived, was shown my new van, had some nice conversations while we waited for the paperwork to be finished (10 minutes maybe), looked at a few fancy cars way outside of my means, and then we got down to business. I worked with Zach Anderson from sales (Lakeville, he drove down to make sure everything went right. Thanks Zach), Brian in purchasing, and Creed from aftermarket accessories. They all did their job, including trying to up sell a bit, but that's cool, that's how they make a living. I believe when all was said and done, I was in and out in 40 minutes. Absolutely no issues. Pricing was very fair, they communicated everything clearly to me so I could make a sound purchasing decision, and then they followed through. That is precisely why I will give them the first opportunity to sell me my next vehicle. They earned it.. More

2016 Cherokee Purchase I purchased a 2016 Cherokee Limited from Jeff Belzer's in August. Overall my experience with the dealership was fine. I honestly don't understand wh I purchased a 2016 Cherokee Limited from Jeff Belzer's in August. Overall my experience with the dealership was fine. I honestly don't understand why this dealership has such high ratings though. To me, there was nothing spectacular about it. And while my experience was fine overall, there are definitely some complaints I have. My first complaint is about the "Unconditional Price" that you will see listed on their website. It makes it sound as though that is the highest price someone could possibly pay - everyone qualifies for that low price. I was still skeptical when I saw that, so I spoke with Paul Johnson through email and also a representative through their online chat window. Both individuals I spoke with confirmed that the "Unconditional Price" is the price that everyone qualifies for, no hoops to jump through, etc., etc. When I went to the dealership, however, I did not qualify for the "Unconditional Price". Because I was from out of state (Illinois) or something like that, I did not qualify. The price I paid was close, but not as good as I thought it would be. So no, the "Unconditional Price" is indeed not unconditional. You will only receive the "Unconditional Price" if you meet certain "conditions". I feel I was definitely misled. When I pointed this out to Paul Johnson through email later on, he seemed interested in helping me out and learning more about my situation...then I never heard from him again. My second complaint is that this dealership had 3 of their dealership decals stuck on the Cherokee I purchased. One on the tailgate (traditional location) but 1 on each of the front fenders as well. It looked terrible. Why 3? Why isn't 1 sufficient? I took all three of the decals off when I got home. Not too difficult, but something I feel I shouldn't have had to do. I have NEVER seen another dealership put so many decals on a vehicle. My third complaint is that they didn't seem to do a great job cleaning the Jeep once I purchased it. When I first looked at the vehicle, I immediately noticed a dirt smudge inside the driver's door as I was entering the vehicle. I know that kind of thing happens and that they clean up the interior and exterior of vehicles after they are purchased, so no big deal. Except once I did purchase the Jeep and they "cleaned it", that same smudge was still there! It was pretty obvious and it was right on the driver's door...how did they miss it?? I will say that one aspect of my experience was excellent. After I purchased the vehicle, a gentleman helped demonstrate and explain many of the features the vehicle had. I already knew most of them, but he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job, but unfortunately I have forgotten his name. So overall my experience was fine as I mentioned. The price I ended up paying was still good in my mind, but it really angers me that I was basically lied to. They really need to explain that their "Unconditional Price" better. To me, this dealership isn't any better than other dealerships I have worked with. More

Bed was really worn, then I was told to get discounts I had to finance with ford, which I did. Then I was told the interest rate would be around 5.5 % which is a little high if you have very good credit. I found out I could have got 0% from a different Ford dealer. I'm sure they get extra money for financing which is no big deal. But then I was told I couldn't pay it off for 90 days. Come on guys, JUST TELL THE TRUTH!! It's these kind of guys that keep giving car salesman and car dealers a xxxxty reputation. More
