Worth the drive We live on the St Paul side of the Twin Cities and had visited all the local dealerships to purchase a new 2500HD. Between the lack of inventory and product knowledge, we weren't very impressed. When we did find a truck that we wanted, we made an offer and were then told that price that was advertised on for days was incorrect due to a "clerical error". A friend recommended New Prague Chev. It was an hour drive from our home - and we were very glad we made the trip. Mike Chlan discussed our needs for the truck and suggested that Chevy's new 2014 1500 was sufficient. Owning a number of 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks in the past, we were skeptical of the suggestion. They allowed us to try one of their 1500's for a few days. We pulled the horses and some heavy equipment for a weekend project....and we were more than satisfied that the 2014 1500 Silverado was more than sufficient. Mike quickly located one that had all the options we needed and in the color we wanted. When the truck arrived, Mike took a good 45 minutes to go through each feature - especially as it related to towing - and made specific suggestions to get the most out of the truck. Brian Albaugh helped us with the money side of the deal and made it quick and easy. Overall - our experience was great. We were happy we took the extra time to go to New Prague and we're sure to do it again for our next purchase. Very satisfied! More
