2015 Ram 3500 I purchased a 2015 RAM 3500 on saturday 3/28/15 , it took 3 hours of waiting to talk to a salesman that was trying to push a $6,000 extented warrant I purchased a 2015 RAM 3500 on saturday 3/28/15 , it took 3 hours of waiting to talk to a salesman that was trying to push a $6,000 extented warrantee , not interested , if I wanted to spend $6,000 more on a truck , I would have purchased a different model . Ram provides a 36,000 mile and 100,000 mile power train , most serious problems show up right away , wearing out items will occur at the end of the 8 years or beyond , if you take the $6,000 and put it in your own savings you are better off, not interested in extended warrantee!! this delayed me over one hour then I was told my method of payment that I agreed on with the salesman had changed that morning as I was driving 43 miles to the dealer. this delayed me another hour . I had several serious questions for the sales person : - what happened to the first set of contracts I signed ? - what is being done in this case to prevent human error and cause me problems down the road. ( I don't live near the dealership) -I found several errors in the documents I signed, and corrected them on the spot - the pricing is at best inflated to apprear to be giving a larger discount , the sticker price is not even on the invoice, the starting price before negotiating was not the same on the invoice either. - I had several questions regarding form of payment Each time I asked a serious question I was met with a dismissive attitude ,,, no that's not possible,,, never happened before ,,,, we sell 700 cars a month ,, don't worry about that ,,, I considered this approch flippant and dismissive. after 3 hours we spent a few minutes outside and I got a look at my new vehicle when I got home I realized the hub caps were behind the front seat , I will have to install them myself even though I signed a blank inspection checklist that my truck was properly prepared if my truck was prepared why was the form blank ? they definately did not look at the hub caps , what else did they miss ? this was the worst vehicle purchase experience I have had . one positive point was a courtesy driver drove my vehicle home for me and I could not have asked for a nicer person . My used '07 VW Jetta purchase was seamless....from the test-drive Saturday just before closing...to delivery this afternoon (3 days including headlight-lens polishing and rear-tire matching)!!!
