I would not recommend Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, NC to anyone! It is the epitome of sleazy car dealerships. I was completely disrespected and lied to. Basically what happened is this... Wilmington, NC to anyone! It is the epitome of sleazy car dealerships. I was completely disrespected and lied to. Basically what happened is this... I stopped by a few weeks ago to look at the available used cars (specifically Chevy Equinox) and was harassed by a guy trying to sell me a new car (again sterotypical car salesman). I was finally allowed to look at a few used vehicles and test drove one. During this visit another sales person who I believe is over the used sales lot told me that they could absolutely find a vehicle that met my qualifications and could transfer any vehicle in the nearby area to ILM at no cost. I told him I needed to do more research and if I found something I liked I would be in touch. Well I found a Equinox that I liked online and came in to meet with Brian Kane. I showed him the vehicle and told him that I wanted to have Jeff Gordon transfer it from Monroe, NC to Wilmington. He said they could do that I would just need to sign an intent to purchase form and put down a refundable deposit. Ok sounds great, but then he proceeded to collect my personal information before even confirming the vehicle was available for transfer. I guess once he and his manager (or whoever the person is who coordinates the transfers) saw my credit rating and the amount of money I made they wanted to put me in a much more expensive vehicle that was already available on their lot. He came back after talking to the "manager" and asked me to take a look a Chevy Equinox that he didn't even know they had. WHAT??? Well I humored him and looked at it, but it did not meet my specifications (another waste of my time). I told him that I wanted the vehicle I saw online. Next thing I know he told me that the vehicle that I saw online was on hold - pending a sale so therefore not available for me to purchase. The weird thing was he said they emailed the dealership instead of calling. Why wouldn't they call immediately to confirm the availability of the vehicle instead of wasting everyone's time with an email. He even fabricated a story about the buyer offering more than the online price. My husband and I felt that he was lying to us and wasting our time so we left. I decided to call the dealership in Monroe directly about the car to confirm it was indeed on hold. Well it wasn't on hold at all. I had the guy triple check and he confirmed the vehicle was indeed available. I asked him to send me the vehicle details via email. So I confirmed the guys at Jeff Gordon were completely lying to me and I called Brian on it and asked him to send me a copy of the "email" stating the car was on hold. He said he would look into right away and call me back which he never did. He text me an apology and said someone from management would be calling me. Well that never happened either. To sum it up expect TERRIBLE SERVICE AND A SLEAZY UNPROFESSIONAL SALES TEAM AT JEFF GORDON CHEVROLET. More
Jeff Gordon Chevrolet has outstanding customer service that is provided by every staff member! I visited the dealership to purchase a new Chevy Malibu. I live over an hour away but the local dealership i that is provided by every staff member! I visited the dealership to purchase a new Chevy Malibu. I live over an hour away but the local dealership in my town don't provide the customer service that exceeds my expectations like Jeff Gordon does! The staff was very attentive and helpful. The employees I interacted with, especially Adam Turner and Shane Constantine, were very knowledgeable about my vehicle and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find my dream car that met my very picky wishes rather than just being focused on making a quick sale. These two are quite a dynamic duo! Because of their efforts, I was able to find exactly what I wanted and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Adam was so knowledgable with every little detail of my car that I have yet to open the owner's manual because he explained everything in great length! I will continue to only buy my vehicles from these two in the future, as well as recommend this dealership to others! More

The day my wife and I arrived at the Jeff Gordon dealership, we were met by Robert Baransky (Sales Consultant). We had three particular vehicles types we wished to look at that were smaller and more dealership, we were met by Robert Baransky (Sales Consultant). We had three particular vehicles types we wished to look at that were smaller and more economical to drive than the Tahoe LT that we owned. We test drove a total of six different vehicles (three in different configurations). It took most of the afternoon to get our choice down to two vehicles. We ended up purchasing a 2013 Camero 2LT that afternoon. Robert give us plenty of time to test drive the vehicles we were looking at. There was never any high pressure sales tactics involved. The price and trade in discussions were also stress free and we received a VERY good financing rate. We desired an addition to the Camero of stripping to be installed, which had to be ordered and installed the next week (which it was completed as requested). Excellent sales assistance, excellent trade-in deal and excellent after the purchase experience. This is my third purchase from the Jeff Gordon Dealership in the last five years. We would highly recommend this dealership. More
My wife and I visited earlier in the year shopping for a car for her. Despite a great visit, she bought elsewhere soley for the reason we have a neighbor who works for another dealer. We did tell the young man at Jeff Gordon we would be back, and did just that last week! When I arrived, was met by sales associate Robert Baransky, relayed to him about the prior visit and asked him to check to see if the same sales associate still worked there. Robert immediately went to a computer to look for that information, only to find the person was no longer working there. His effort immediately impressed me since he could have easily just said otherwise, and only then did he offer to help once it was determined that the person I inquired about was no longer at Jeff Gordon. After telling him of my interest in a CRUZ, he took me to the different models available on the lot, explained those differences in plain language, made the paperwork process very smoothe, and needless to say, I left with a new car very happy. Robert answered every question professionally, and I could only hope that the service experience will be as good as the sales experience was. I wood strongly recommend to any friends or family to visit Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, and particularly Robert Baransky.
