Don't like the add ons to the window sticker price of your product added to the gm window sticker price. They don't add them if the vehicle is ordered, but I don't feel they should be added at all, unless you want to put them on your vehicle. Also the DOC fee is much more than GM puts in print is allowable on a GM Employee purchase. Much like Jeff Gordon Chevy puts these "DEALER PROFIT ADD ONS", to their window stickers! Employees and staff are very helpful at MB Cadillac/Chevy. They get a 100% good from me!! These DOC FEES should be STOPPED NOW, on Employee Purchase Deals, and only the allowable DOC FEE added. Once again, employees get 100% satisfied!!!

Took my car in to repair the AC. It was to be kept for several days so I had to wait for my husband to come pick me up which was going to take a hour. The owner saw that I had been sitting there awhile. He introduced himself and then introduced us to Mr. Thomas Cayton. Those two are quite a pair as salesmen. The service was great and Mr. Cayton was very professional and helpful. I would recommend this Chevrolet dealership for purchase of a new car or for service. There is no other car than a Chevrolet. Make sure you are looking to buy a car before you meet up with the sales team of Cayton and Phelps. They are excellent.

Thank you Lee for stepping up There should be a 0 star option. We were very proud and happy customers of Judd Khun. We bought our Silverado truck with a lifetime power train warranty provided by Judd Khun. When Beach Chevrolet bought Judd Khun out they assured us they would honor that warranty. They very matter of factly informed my husband today that they would no longer honor that warranty, despite thier prior assurance that they would. We did everything we were suppose to do to keep that warranty. They did all our service. We drove from Georgetown every time it needed something. And they repay that loyalty by going back on their word. If they will be dishonest about that, they will be dishonest about anything.They need not worry about us spending anymore money there. Livid is an understatement. Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option

It saddens me to have to write this because I was treated well the last time I was there. The service department has changed in that little bit of time I took my vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation only to find out later that the tire rotation was not done. But I was never told this the only way I found out was I took a look at my paperwork work only to see that they wrote that the rotation was not done because they didn't have the wheel lock key. Ok I didn't have the key in the cup holder however I was at the dealership they could have just asked for it but they chose to skip the service.… wrong wrong wrong. What if one of the tires were defected dangerous on their part I called to speak to a manager and he did return my call but we missed each other I called back the next day and left a message for him never got a call back. So I called the service department back and not in these exact words but I was told I got what I paid for. But that's not what I made the service for I don't think I'll be using them anymore I can't trust them. It's just amazing how they will ring your phone off the hook begging you to come in and then treat you like garbage all I will say is if you go here walk around your vehicle going in and walk around when it comes out check your paperwork before you leave

I am a man of 67 years, and have purchased many vehicles. This dealership is by far the WORST I have ever dealt with. I leased a 2026 Colorado on Feb 5 2026. I traded in a 2019 Toyota Rav 4, I had a military tag which I told them I wanted transfered to the truck. After the ride home I discovered the lights were much to dim for me.( that's how long we were in dealership). The next day I went back to dealership to return vehicle. They found a vehicle I wanted to purchase however, it was at a different dealership and they would have it delivered to Shallotte NC. Finally Feb 19th they said the truck is ready for pick up. In which I picked up and was happy with vehicle. Today March 11 2026 I received a letter from South Carolona (where I live) stating my registration and license would be suspended b/c the Toyota which I traded in had no insurance. So, from Feb 5th to today Mar 17th SCDMV has no recorded paperwork in their database to justify my story. I had to go to SCDMV and prove to them with the paperwork I had that Capital Chevy actually took possession of said vehicle. After me filling out a form 460 at the SCDMV the suspension has been halted. However, SCDMV still has no paperwork to honor my transfer of military tag. I only discovered all of this b/c my voicemails went unanswered. I was told by Capital Chevy they never received any calls from me. I feel like a can being kicked down the road over and over again. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anybody, even my enemies. Very disappointed and feeling used.

Excellent service, friendly and fast!! Boy has my view changed! Be very wary of purchasing a used car here! I purchased a 2018 GmC Canyon October 29 2024. They were all so great! Got a full 90 day warranty on all components including AC. After 10 days heater would not work. So I am thinking I have the warranty so I take it in. $2700 dollar repair that the “full warranty” refuses to cover. Fast toward to 3-4 days after the warranty runs out, truck won’t start. Turns out the AC compressor, evaporator, and condenser are bad, oh and also the starter! $3800 in repairs! Truck only has 59000 miles. DON’T BUY A USED VEHICLE HERE! Their warranty is not a true full warranty.

Our Chevy truck had issues while it was in the New Bern area. We are from VA They suggested a major engine repair which we authorized. Truck was returned to us in the time the service tech anticipated however it had a major oil leak and had to be returned the next day. Service Tech then suggested more expensive work saying the leak was not from their original repair only. I questioned them how this was possible since the truck came there leaking no oil. They sent me some crappy video showing me leak points that showed really nothing and being that I am in VA I could not see it in person so I took them at their word and authorized the repair. I drove 350 miles from Virginia to retrieve the truck a week later. Truck was still leaking oil the same even though the mechanic came out and said it was fine. Drove it a mile or two and oil was dripping like crazy. I left the truck at the dealer again and returned to VA. Came back a couple days later after they found the issue and fixed it .. a valve cover gasket damaged during the original repair. The issue all along was something they caused but they still think it is fair to charge me for the unneeded repair ($2600). Also cost me 1400 miles of driving trying to get the truck home. Absolute most incompetent repair facility I have encountered and I am 60 years old. Avoid them!

Had an appointment for 07:30 today and took my vehicle in to have them repair a wheel stud, check/inspect breaks, and fix a VVT Camshaft solenoid sensor (extremely common problem with Colorado pickup trucks btw). None of the above, would I personally consider time consuming or extremely problematic. I was also introduced to their foreman and I had a very good conversation with him - speaking of how times had changed and how you couldn't really count on things anymore. I honestly (though in retrospect I now feel very gullible) felt I was in really capable hands so I returned home. Having received no word, I decided to call at 3pm. To my shock, they hadn't even seen the truck yet and I guess assumed it was okay to keep it indefinitely without notice or my approval. There was never any suggestion given that it would be kept for an indefinite duration of time whatsoever. After all, I had a locked-in appointment scheduled an again the issues could be resolved quite easily. I see that after all these years my complacency with Powers-Swain got the better of me. Today reminds me of 2 incidents 35 years prior in which my 1989 Z24 was brought in and it took them a week to diagnose and fix a catalytic converter??? And also another incident in which I had locked my keys in same car 7 miles down the road and they would not assist me. I ended up walking 14 miles grand total in 90+ degree heat because they would not give me a ride back. Later the next day, I reviewed my paperwork (as suspected) to find I had purchased a "roadside" policy which would not only cover costs of (locked keys, battery, flat tires, etc.) but required them to assist me if within x-amount of range of the dealership. Livid, I contacted owner Kyle Powers (owner) to voice my concerns that very next day. To my shock, he "was not familiar" with this policy whatsoever though his very salesmen were selling them. So I see after 35 years time this dealership has not improved regarding customer service whatsoever! I will not ever go back and I suggest the following: Always write down your mileage upon entering service of your vehicle wherever that may be. When my 1989 Z24 entered service (for catalytic converter replacement noted prior) it had almost a full tank. However when I finally received it 5 days later it was almost on empty. *I was told, "Well, sometimes the mechanics will go out for lunch". Also read your paperwork, especially in a military town. With our great servicemen coming and going (here today gone tomorrow), a lot of businesses have gotten used to taking advantage of them. Be certain to get everything in writing and likewise read everything! Don't be made a fool like I was! at Powers-Swain!

Where do I even begin? If it was possible, I’d give a negative started review. This company is so unprofessional and an absolute nightmare to deal with. I chose Palmetto as the place to take my vehicle after someone had side swiped my car, and this was a top rated place their insurance company offered to cover my claim. After going to Palmetto for my initial estimate appraisal on 4/12, I was told it would take approximately two weeks for all parts to arrive. I gave the shop plenty of time to get the parts in before calling in for a check up. I did not hear from the shop, the ENTIRE month of May, so I called first week of June. The tech who answered said they had received all my parts and they had been there for a bit and they were waiting for me to come in. How am I supposed to make an appointment when I haven’t been told my parts have arrived? When I asked why I hadn’t been contacted, no one could give me an answer. I finally got my appointment set for 6/22, when dropping off my vehicle, I was told it would be a week, week and a half TOPS. So I let that time pass, to again no contact. I reach out after a week and a half and am told that they are still not complete and they could not give me any answer as to when the work would be completed. The women who I had spoken to, said she would get information and call me back. To no surprise, I never heard back yet again. Finally I am told my car will be complete 7/13, the day comes and goes, to still hear nothing. So I call for yet another update, and I am told that the crew is waiting on a part to come in for them to be able to complete the work. Yet I was told all the parts were there back in June…? To make things even better, the following day, I am called at 4:53 to be told my car was FINALLY completed. Now keep in mind, the shop closes at 5! I asked if someone would be there late for me to pick up my car, I am then told by the “shop manager” that he is off at 5, and has other obligations to take care of, but if I give him time to call and make arrangements he could stay for a little bit over for me to get there. But of course I am called at 5pm, with bad weather, and heavy traffic I would have to fight just to get there and it would be easily half an hour or more, the guy definitely makes it known that it is quite the inconvenience for him. So I told him to not worry about it, and that I would get it in the morning. THE. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. Save yourself the time, money, and headache of dealing with this unprofessional, disrespectful, and arrogant staff.
