Jeff Schmitt Nissan

This was the worse dealing I have had with a dealership. The sales manager Greg Schmidt was rude and condescending. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I dont know anything about cars, taxes, etc. i ha The sales manager Greg Schmidt was rude and condescending. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I dont know anything about cars, taxes, etc. i had to talk to 2 sales people prior to Sales Manager because everytime they brought an offer back either it was hirer or they would add additional cost that I did not ask for. He told me here is the price of the car 16,200 plus tax and title out the door. I have no problem paying for tax and title and registration which should have come to the most 17,300. I agreed to the price then he tells me there are doc fees of 250 and a package of 299 then tax me on the total price which came to 17, 890. First, he didn't add up the sales tax right with the additional doc fees then tells me he can't take the additional 299 off because built into the car. The day before I was told by his 2 other salesman that was optional and wouldn't stop the sale of a car. He then proceeded to say he would come down 200 if I came to get the car that evening and would guarantee me he would beat 2.9% interest rate. He proceeded to say its 71 degrees in March and I can sell this convertible so I am giving you a deal already. This was only a few of the remarks of received from him. After talking to him the 2nd time, I decided he can shove that car where the sun don't shine! I didn't want the car that bad to be treated disrespectfully and get screwed at the same time! So, needless to say I WILL NEVER return to that dealership again!!! IF you choose to shop there be careful and do your homework because they can't add or subtract and do not tell you up front when you are negotiating prices that there are hidden costs! Take a man with you would be my advice if you are a woman! More

I first went to Jeff Jchmitt Chevrolet south about two weeks ago and was greeted warmly by Chris Thomas. Today 3-21-12 Chris and Greg contacted me and said they had a deal for me! I was soo amazed that a salesman (Chris Thomas) would spend soo much time and effort to help a customer in my situatoin get in a vehicle, not to mention a brand new 2012 Nissan Altima! I will recommend anyone that I know that is looking for a vehicle to go to Jeff Schmitt and talk to ChrisThomas, Mario McCintosh, and Greg Nicholl. New salesmen can really learn a lot from these men. This was by far the most honest place! They took care of me after another dealership blantly outright lied to me about a previous car I was interested in. I was astounded by the amount of car I got and all of what I wanted. I'm sooooooo happy with my nissan, I couldn't tell it all! Knew exactly what I wanted to buy and how much I was willing to pay. Tom Dobson listened to what I was saying instead of trying to push me into something. Staff in the showroom clearly work great together; floor manager looking up vehicles that met my needs so salesman was able to continue focusing on me and not his computer. We already knew what a great service department this dealership has as we have been bringing our previous Nissan truck here for years; the service and parts dept staff can not be beat. More
