A Disturbing Encounter I'm Chris Stovall and I had a disturbing encounter at the Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall. Specifically, Gene Branham. Gene came up to me and we talk I'm Chris Stovall and I had a disturbing encounter at the Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall. Specifically, Gene Branham. Gene came up to me and we talked about why I was visiting the Jeff Wyler Auto Mall Chevy section. I was interested in the High Country Series of Truck. I didn't know if I really wanted the 1500 or the 2500. We looked through the window of a 2500, but didn't open it. As for the 1500 series, I said I wanted a 6.2L engine and he got all excited. He said we should go drive one. In fact, he said that we should drive his personal truck which he is leasing since it has a 6.2L engine. So far, this was starting off OK, but I have my doubts about it truthfully being a truly personally leased vehicle. The deception came as a slap in my face after I told him I didn't like the Black Onyx paint, nor did I care for the White Diamond , either. He said that the High Country only came in Black or White colors. He said this more than once. He said if I wanted other colors, I'd have to drop to the LTZ or lower models. He said that was when the other colors opened up. Gene also brought out another employee and claimed he was the truck expert. This man tried to tell me that I should trade my '04 Suburban as soon as possible since I have 94,000 miles on it. He said banks won't lend anyone money of a car with more than 100,000 miles on them. They can pay cash, but can't borrow money. The new guy said it sounded like I was looking for a specific truck, to which I replied, yes. I wanted a High Country 6.2L engine with a Crew Cab and Standard size bed. The topic of paint came up again and the new guy didn't comment on the Gene saying that High Country only came in Black or White. I'm guessing they thought they'd fill me with as much manure as I'd stand there and take. Maybe they judged me as someone who wasn't going to buy a truck and the two of them would have fun toying with me. Regardless, these blatant and rude deceptions were not appreciated and will be the cause for me not buying a vehicle from Jeff Wyler at this time. I am in the market for a Denali or High Country truck. WHY did I drive from Mason to the Eastgate Auto Mall? Well, I did buy a 2012 Rouge from King's Nissan (now in the Jeff Wyler group) and we have it maintained there regularly and are happy with that dealership. However, it's a Nissan dealership, so I had to drive to Eastgate to look at the Chevy trucks. It was very shocking to be treated so crappy. More

Dan was great he went out with me on several test drives and he has a big love for cars. Josh worked his tail end off to find me the perfect car. We also had a sales guy who helped me a lot with the figures on my new car got my payment down to where I felt comfortale and made me not so concerned about my negative equity that I had from my enclave I am unable to recall his name but he was fabulous please speak to Josh about recalling his name Im thinking it was Mike Schworer ?? John Stottman was very nice and did a great job on getting my paperwork finalized.
