The sales person was knowledgeable about the cars, friendly, etc. They tried to lowball us on our trade in vehicle but eventually settled for a low and barely acceptable offer. Then we had to wait about an hour for the accountant to be ready. She was not knowledgeable about the different warranty programs and what they covered and couldn’t answer a lot of our questions about the different costs that were coming with the car, she had to call in her manager several times. She became frustrated and mumbled to herself about what she was doing and what the coverage was. We had to ask her the same questions multiple times because her answers didn’t make sense, the numbers didn’t add up, and her answers kept changing. She tried to lie about when the certified warranty (7 years 100k miles) started. She told us it was 8 years and started on the day of purchase. I asked her again if that was truly what it was and she looked me in the eyes and said “yes” with a tone in her voice. Luckily my wife has worked in car dealerships and corrected her and she changed her answer to “oh I guess you are right”. She told us repeatedly “just sign the paper” “just sign it. I have never had anyone ask all these questions before.” Turns out she has only been working there for a couple months but her attitude and lack of knowledge and her talking to herself was a huge turn off. Then when we were eventually finished, she practically pushed us out the door and unlike most dealerships we didn’t get a “thank you for stopping by!” No manager came out to talk to us, we were just handed the key (one key, they will charge us 120$ for another even though we just spent 20k on a car) and the salesperson walked away. It was quite odd. More

The less than 5 rating has to do with the reality that replacing the transmission did not solve the issue I continue to have. After being out of town for a week, a follow up appointment will be made this week. More
