Long story short, they are awesome. Service: As the owner of a Lifetime Bumper-to-bumper warranty, I consider myself an extremely smart consumer. However, I’ve still had my disputes with Service: As the owner of a Lifetime Bumper-to-bumper warranty, I consider myself an extremely smart consumer. However, I’ve still had my disputes with Chrysler and technicalities with this warranty. Basically, every dealer we have worked with on our aging (2010 111k mile) T&C minivan has eventually given up on pushing Chrysler to repair things. Things that with the lifetime warranty I don’t necessarily “have to” fix (oil leaks, coolant issues etc. ) but I believe in preventative maintenance regardless of if I have to pay for future repairs, so when issues arise I want them fixed. Jerry Ulm service has been hands down the best service department yet. First I had Brian who is awesome, then Tracy (who is the best of all of them, no offense dudes). They pushed Chrysler on so many occasions for us, and during the period we were out of a van for repairs, they took care of much of our transportation expenses. I cannot explain without boring everyone how awesome their service department was on many issues. Never once have they allowed me any expenses out of warranty, and they are always up front if there are additional non-covered items. Their techs would not let us leave with an unsafe or unreliable vehicle, and Angelo the service manager even went as far as to cover some of my expenses due to Chrysler inspector delays. A true stand-up guy. Sales: While I didn’t seek out Jerry Ulm because of a referral, I actually found them while shopping for a vehicle online. Then found through my first free oil change service that these folks were pretty awesome. I emailed the dealership when I found a truck I wanted and got much more than expected for the trade-in on my Jeep. I was worried about this as it was only a couple years old and I didn’t want to get taken on the trade in. The price on the truck was almost $8k less than anywhere in the southeast. There was zero pressure for me to finance or buy extras and they were upfront on all the fees. Actually, I took a check home at the end of the day. I did work with the finance department for the new warranty and they were extremely friendly. Sometimes when I’m there getting a service I walk around the lot. The salespeople are more friendly than anything and don’t hound you to buy from them. They just like talking cars and will give you a card at most if you have future needs. Atmosphere: Everyone at the dealership is super friendly and, granted I’m somewhat a regular now, they greet everyone with a lot of respect. They have a nice waiting area and always free bottled water/coffee. Maybe this is the way dealerships should be, but I’ve dealt with the worst I swear and they are above an beyond. I drive an hour or so to get there so that should tell you something. Anyway, my experiences have been great and I would consider giving them my money if and when I buy a new vehicle or get them serviced. I rarely write reviews, but they deserve a good one for all the times they have gone above and beyond for us. Thank you Jerry Ulm Dodge. More

Beware - The worst place for service in the area Jerry Ulm has been the worst place to have your vehicle serviced for well over a decade and I refuse to ever have service there again. Unfortune Jerry Ulm has been the worst place to have your vehicle serviced for well over a decade and I refuse to ever have service there again. Unfortunetly my wife bought a car from their dealership 4 years ago and each and every time we've had an issue they have performed miserably. The latest was last week when my wife's car was having issues with her convertible top from latching into place. We called Wednesday morning and we explained the issues and was told to dropped off the vehicle on Wednesday night and was told they would look at it the first thing on Thursday to try and troubleshoot it. When I called mid day on Thursday to get an update, I was told they couldn't figure it out but will let me know when another tech looks it over, what needs to be done. I even had one of Jerry Ulm's Sales people text me while the car was in service wanting know if I was interested in buying another vehicle from their dealership. I called again at the end of the day, and still no answer on what the issue was. I asked again about 2 factory recalls that were on the vehcile and they said they would handle them while it's at their dealership. I called again Friday mid day, but they still didn't know what was going on. I finally got a call from Bill, our service advisor, mid afternoon on Friday and was told they didn't have a "Star Scan" which was need to troubleshoot it because it was old technogoly and no other dealership had that machine to troubleshoot it (the car is 5 years old) and they were going to release the car back at no cost, becasue nothing was done. When I asked if the 2 factory recalls we done, they said they would have them done within an hour so I told them we would be by in 90 minutes to pick up the car. I called another dealership within 10 miles from their location and of course they had the "Star Scan" and we could drop it off and they would troubleshoot it. While my wife was heading to pick up her car, the dealership called me and told that the factory warranty wasn't done becasue they needed certain parts. Something that should have been done when we dropped off the vehicle 2 days beforehand. My wife came to the dealership to pick up the vehcile and her service advisor, Bill, told her nothing at all was done and the car wasn't even touched the 2 days it sat at the dealership. When my wife got into her car to bring it to the other dealership, her driver's seat moved/shifted each time she stopped at a traffic light, which had never been an issues before. We got it to the other dealership when they were closing up, so they said a tech would look at it in the morning which was a Saturday morning. I received a call from the new service advisor by 9:15 Saturday morning and they had an answer about the convertible top issue (simply a new motor was needed) and that the tracks that the driver front seat rides on was cracked, which was never an issue until after we dropped the car off for service at Jerry Ulm. Jerry Ulm have been terrible for as many years as I've lived in Tampa, which is over a decade. I've purchased a Durango (Jerry Ulm service told me it needed an new engine when the engine light came on at 80k miles and couldn't service it but I still drove it another 4 years and over 160k miles after the light came on) and 2 Ram trucks over the last 12 years at other local dealerships and will never bring another vehcile to Jerry Ulm ever again. All they care about is making the sale of vehicles and nothing about customer care if you bring it in for service. More
