I have had my vehicle in 3 times now for the same issue. It has a bad turbo. The second time I took it in, I also had them look at the AC blowing warm. They found a bad ambient air temp sensor. They said th It has a bad turbo. The second time I took it in, I also had them look at the AC blowing warm. They found a bad ambient air temp sensor. They said they needed to pull the dash board to shoot wires to find a short. It would take 3-5 hours of additional diagnostic time( at $165 an hour). I told them not to worry about that, to just get the turbo figured out. The turbo is covered under warranty, the temp sensor is not. The mechanic refused to troubleshoot the turbo. He claimed that the temp sensor was causing a false code for the turbo. The two systems have nothing at all to do with each other. I declined and picked my vehicle up. Because they refused to troubleshoot the turbo is had to pay for the rental vehicle. I spoke with the service manager and relayed my frustrations. He told me to bring it back in and he would make the mechanic troubleshoot the turbo. He said if it was found to be a covered issue they would reimburse for the previous rental. For the 3rd time it is there and this time they actually did the work and found a bad turbo( a chronically defective part). The repair is covered under warranty. I asked about getting reimbursed and now they are refusing to reimburse me. After a lot of back and forth they finally reimbursed me for 3 of the 6 days but refuse to reimburse me for the other 3 days that should have been covered. They try to cheat their customers on things they shouldnt be paying for then refuse to stand by their word when they're caught. More
