Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Rick. We understand that it can be frustrating to take time out of your day to get repairs done on your vehicle. With regard to the brake issues that you were experiencing, we did not say that there was nothing wrong with your brakes on your last visit. We said that we could not get the problem to act up in the short time that we had your vehicle, so we were unable to diagnose a problem without more time, which could cost more money if the problem was not under warranty. This further diagnostic was declined. We're glad the recall came out so we could have an exact problem to fix that was approved by GM at no cost to you. The results of your oil change that you had are detailed in your Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection that was emailed to you. If there were any outstanding problems that needed to be addressed, we would have told you immediately. There were not any problems, which is why it was not gone over with you in detail. If you would like to go over it further, please feel free to reach out to Theresa in our Customer Relations Department. We understand that your time is valuable and, as a gesture of good faith, we will give you a free oil change on your next visit. Regarding the HAZMAT/disposal fee, we do have a very large sign in the check in area that states: "Due to recent Federal & State regulations, we have incurred additional costs from the use & disposal of hazardous waste materials while working on your vehicle. Missouri law allows a nominal charge on your work order to cover these costs & shop supplies such as nuts, bolts, clips, etc. The amount of the charge is 10% of the parts & labor charge and will not exceed $25." This is the $10.99 charge that you saw on your bill. We hope this information is helpful regarding your bill and allows for a more pleasant experience going forward! We did attempt to diagnose any problems with your vehicle during your 7/30/19 visit, but everything was operating normally with your vehicle. We're not sure what you think we lied about o r were otherwise dishonest with you about. On your 10/17/19 visit, the repairs that we suggested and performed were the solutions to the problems, as was indicated by GM.
