We're sorry to hear that you feel that way, Mr. Estes. We can assure you that was not the case. We do have a wait time with an appointment of 2-3 days for journeyman technicians to be available before work can be started on the vehicle right now. We also do not have journeyman technicians on the weekend. Whether your vehicle was driveable or not has no bearing on when your vehicle gets worked on, it is just who is next in line for repairs. It should have been communicated when you made your appointment that the appointment is to meet with a service advisor and not for immediate start of service. This should have been reiterated in your confirmation emails and at check in. If it was not, we apologize. It looks like we had your vehicle for the check engine light problem and your tire issue from 5/28/19 to 5/30/19. We're glad another shop was able to take care of your needs faster. All GM Certified shops do currently have a wait for service out as long as 3 weeks, so we hope wherever your took your vehicle took great care of it. You are correct that when you schedule an appointment, it is to meet with a service advisor and not for immediate start of work. We apologize that this was not communicated to you when you set the appointment. The repair took as long as it did because we had to replace the entire mirror assembly. This is a very intricate job with lots of wires and components involved. We are sorry that you had to miss work. We do have rental vehicles available for as little as $35/day if you run into this situation in the future. While our Service Manger did get your daughters voicemail, she did not leave your name for him to look into the situation prior to calling back. We were completely slammed the Friday that you were here with walk ins and less staff than usual.
