We're glad he was able to let you know that he was in contact with your wife via phone and text, that he was here at the dealership but out on the lot with another customer upon arrival, and promptly got her into a rental vehicle. Ardi let me know that he did quote an estimate of 3 hours for the Simonize treatment and 3 hours for the remote start. We're glad we were able to get it done on time for you. As we discussed on the phone, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak to you and your wife about what you each personally experienced so we can work towards improving the communication between our departments at the dealership. Thank you for your feedback, Mr. Althage. We're sorry to hear that there were so many problems with your vehicle after getting work done at Bommarito. We are very glad we were able to take care of your vehicle and correct the problems that were occurring! We hope they are resolved as well. We are more than happy to clarify the situation with regard to the Engine Induction Service and the Transmission Flush. I personally spoke with your service advisor, Doug, who let me know that why the time you had called back to discuss the services in question, they had already been completed because you had previously approved them. We do want to assure you that those services were, in fact, needed due to mileage and time. You were fully charged for the Transmission Flush because we did not actually have to drain any of the transmission fluid for the replacement of the rear main seal (which is between the engine and the transmission). We were able to separate the components just enough to be able to effectively replace the seal without draining the fluid. While the Engine Induction Service does clean the throttle body (which you had replaced) it also cleans the carbon from the inside of the engine. Cleaning both of these areas are equally important. I do sincerely hope that clears up any confusion as to why you were charged for these services. I hope all problems are resolved with your vehicle for a long, long time.
