Thank you for your feedback, Glenn. I spoke with my service managers regarding this issue and they shed some light on why we covered what we did. We did take care of fixing the instrument cluster bezel that we worked on in October, however there were problems with the kick plates that were not of our doing. We did not touch that area during repairs whatsoever, as they are completely separate. We do sincerely care about our customers and appreciate your business, but as vehicles age there are parts of the vehicle that just deteriorate. This is likely true in this case, as your truck has lived a full life over the last 204,000 miles and 22 years. Especially if the vehicle in question is not being driven often. We hope that, with this is mind, we are able to earn your business in the future. Safe travels.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Chris. We do understand your frustration with this issue with the 3rd brake light seal. Unfortunately, when this issue happened, your vehicle was already out of the certified warranty and the extended warranty you chose to purchase does not cover trim/body work. We did attempt to cut costs as much as possible to help you and did get the costs 50% covered by GM. We are truly doing everything we can to help you in this situation.
