Once again I took my Chevy to Jim Butler for service. This time they said there was not a problem and charged me a couple hundred dollars. I took the vehicle home and the next day experienced the issue This time they said there was not a problem and charged me a couple hundred dollars. 2 attempts to fix my convertible top on my corvette have been a failure. I do not blame the technician but I do not see a real effort to get an engineer on site to help troubleshoot the problem. 2 new top been a failure. I do not blame the technician but I do not see a real effort to get an engineer on site to help troubleshoot the problem. 2 new top motors have come in and cannot be programmed. Its not the motors. I've learned through Chevy customer service that a 3rd motor has been ordered. How is that going to help? The top is physically in a bind and I've shown the a wiring harness that has been put under stress and has minor damage to it. Very little communication has been going on and there are 2 other issues that are awaiting parts. It is now winter and I may not be able to take the car in. It will need to be put on a flatbed if below 40 degrees. Very frustrating experience so far. More
