I had rough idle, check engine light flashing and alerts for service ESC, Forward Collision not available and Service traction control. Jim Ellis dealership diagnosed lifter failure and bad camshaft. After 30 days all the exact same symptoms have returned. After repeated (at least 4) trips to the dealership. I'm told that they can't recreate the alerts and therefore cannot make any repairs. So I'm stuck with an unreliable $80,000 Yukon SLT 5.3. The engine replacement was a misdiagnosed and therefore I should be refunded or that $5,000 I paid for a new engine should go toward the correct diagnosis in order to make me whole especially since I ama loyal customer who have purchased 3 GM vehicles. This make me want to find a more reliable non GM vehicle! The issues I'm having is a known wider issue for GM which makes it even more disheartening that they continue to allow their customers who invest so much money to go thru this! More

Service was good but the repair took much longer than initially quoted and was more expensive than anticipated due to the labor hours. I visited Jim Ellis GMC on September 22,2025 regarding the purchase of a 2025 GMC Sierra. I had set an appointment to view the vehicle, yet upon arrival the truck was not visible. Neither the sales repres the purchase of a 2025 GMC Sierra. I had set an appointment to view the vehicle, yet upon arrival the truck was not visible. Neither the sales representative nor the sales manager could locate it for nearly 15 minutes. I was eventually escorted to another location on site, where the vehicle was finally shown. To my disappointment, the truck was dirty inside and out and was not clearly prepared for showing-especially after I had been assured beforehand that it would be ready. Despite this, I was still interested in the vehicle and hopeful of receiving fair treatment and a good price from a reputable local dealership. After several rounds of back and forth negotations, we agreed on a purchase price. From the beginning, I was clear that I wanted to take advantage of the advertised 2.9% financing rate thru GMAC. However, the finance manager initially offered me a 7% rate, and after more than an hour of back and forth, only then agreed to the 2.9% rate over 72 months. After full execution of paperwork, new truck was driven up to allow transfer of personal items. Shortly later, sales manager mentioned that our agreement was not correct and agreed to 2.9% rate could not be offered nor accepted, and I would need to accept a higher rate of 5.9% or find alternative financing. After giving experience some thought, I returned truck to dealership the next morning. The entire experience was unprofessional, unethical, and incredibly frustrating. I have purchased vehicles for over four decade, and this was by far the worst sales and finance process I have ever encountered. More
