It was my first service experience with a new Yukon Denali purchased out of state, I did receive a free oil change since it was the first oil change which was nice. I had also mentioned a squeaky driv Denali purchased out of state, I did receive a free oil change since it was the first oil change which was nice. I had also mentioned a squeaky driver's side door hinge that I was told would be checked and lubed as part of the oil change but that was not done. I also asked about a car wash and was told that they run it through the car wash as a complimentary part of the oil change - they brought it out to me without doing so. I would not have offered the negative remarks but this was about the 4th request via email or text to comment. More
Scheduled an oil change at 1pm. Arrived 30 mins early. Came back 2 hours later at 2:30pm and was told it wasn’t ready. Waited until 4pm before they said it was 5 minutes away from being ready. When I finally did get the vehicle, the oil change sticker wasn’t replaced nor was the oil filter setting reset in the computer. I have almost zero confidence that they actually changed my oil. The service team seemed incredibly nice though and was very attentive. But again - I’m not sure I even got the oil change at this rate. It’s possible my tires were rotated because they had the wheel lock in the center console but not even positive they did that now that I doubt the oil change happened. Seems simple to reset the oil change in the computer (it was - I did it when I drove away) and/or put a new sticker up for when the next oil change should happen if they really did take the time to change my oil. More

The service has declined over the 6+ years. The last time it took 2 days to diagnose and order parts. Was offered a wash for the last 2 times, but nothing was done. 2 of the issues this time was because it w it took 2 days to diagnose and order parts. My car was experiencing a problem noting that the gear shift was forward after stopping. Jorge Banos was my service representive and he was most accomodating. I have worked with Tate Gardner on several routine maintenance items and most recently on a repair. Tate is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, etc. and he kept me directly informed about wha maintenance items and most recently on a repair. I bought my truck at Jim Ellis and am planning to buy my next one there also. I have had most of my service done at Jim Ellis, and with Tate as my direct contact - plan to keep doing so.
