This was my first time at the dealership. In the service department, I received help from Bill Capelman. He welcome me and gave me a tour of the facility which was nice. Amazing Customer Service My GMC Terrain needed service, but I was concerned about going to the dealership and waiting in the service lobby due to the virus. I called, and they My GMC Terrain needed service, but I was concerned about going to the dealership and waiting in the service lobby due to the virus. I called, and they scheduled a pickup of my vehicle from my home! The guy came and picked up my vehicle and returned it within a couple of hours. The vehicle was cleaned, disinfected, and the insides had plastic on everything, including the steering wheel. This really made me feel safe, and I know they cared about my safety. This is my first vehicle with Jim Ellis, but they have convinced me to buy from them again and recommend them to others! More

My purchase experience with the dealership was great but I can definitely not say the same about the service department. It seems that they like throwing parts at an issue instead of properly diagnosing the I can definitely not say the same about the service department. It seems that they like throwing parts at an issue instead of properly diagnosing the problem. They also told me that my truck needed a new fuel filter when it actually had 75% remaining on the life. On top of that they tried telling me my air filter needed replacing as well and would I like to add that to my service? I have an aftermarket intake on the truck that requires a custom filter that I know they do not carry. Once I pointed that out they asked if I would like a factory filter installed. It took six hours for an oil change trans service and to have one of my rear parking sensors replaced. Ridiculous! I had the parking sensor replaced due to a service park assist warning on the truck. As soon as I left the dealership the alarm came back on. I couldn't believe it! I returned to the service department and they checked on the issue. There response was that the other three sensors were bad as well and needed replacing. I patiently waited again as they ordered the sensors to be delivered four days later. So yes I had to return back to the dealership for the other three sensors to be installed and guess what? The alarm is still on! At this point I would rather handle any issues with my truck personally instead of dealing with the dealership. I really wonder what the warranty actually covers on a vehicle purchase and why we pay so much for it? Never again! More
