9 hours to fix a dead tire pressure sensor? I was even 10 minutes early pulling in at 0750 for my 0800am Tuesday Morning appointment, made the Previous Friday afternoon! I arrived at Jim Ellis Chevy Service minutes early pulling in at 0750 for my 0800am Tuesday Morning appointment, made the Previous Friday afternoon! I arrived at Jim Ellis Chevy Service and checked in with Vladimir as Paul(my agent) was busy! I went to the lobby and fell asleep on the couch by the front door, waking every time someone entered! 2 hours later I decided to to check on the Chevy Bolt, so I went out to Paul’s Desk and he said Chevy Bolt right! I responded yes and he said he hadn’t begun as he wasn’t sure if the appointment made 5 days earlier was the reason for the appointment! Paul, obviously not familiar at all with Electric Vehicles, I said there isn’t much to go wrong with EVs. Yes the Tire Pressure is why I am here! Why else would I be here for the appointment than the reason I made the appointment 5 days earlier! When made the appointment the previous week, Paul, wanted to move my Bolt from the DC Fast Chargers towards the back of the lot, to the Service Center! Paul told me he had a charger up there at his desk! I explained from my Bicycle, Paul I am going to donate blood, and I will be back in 2 hours or so, at which point the Bolt will be full left on the DC Fast Charger at 20kW! At his Level 2 Charger it would take about 6 hours to achieve that! Paul seems to have no idea what I was talking about. Simply put Voltage, Wattage, Amperage! So I returned to my Couch and dozed more, checking on the Bolt every couple of hours. I was awoken at one one point by another Service Representative to sign for some work, who later returned and explained I was leaking several fluids including Transmission Fluid! I said that’s Impossible, as I do not have a transmission! I looked at his clipboard and said that’s not my Suburban, I have. Chevy Bolt...with no transmission! Unbelievably it was 5:30pm before I got out of there and still owed over $200! I checked with the Firestone Down the Street I’ve used before and will again now that I am well out of warranty. $200 there too but the longest I would have waited was 2 hours! More

We had such a pleasant experience! I can’t believe I’m actually referring to car buying as pleasant, but Reggie couldn’t have been easier to work with and made this deal so easy and convenient! actually referring to car buying as pleasant, but Reggie couldn’t have been easier to work with and made this deal so easy and convenient! Had I known that services after the sale at the dealership were so poor, I would have paid more for the truck I purchased in December 2019 from one of the many other locations in Metro-Atlanta. Since the purchase, I have returned to the dealership for the first oil change that took 4 hours. Three weeks later, when the truck would not crank, I had it towed to the service center to get it repaired. Before the tow, two teams from the Roadside Assistance had tried and were unable to start the truck. Anyway, the truck was at the dealership for over 24 hours, and according to the invoice, they only had to perform a reset to start it. Since I do not know what caused the no start issue, I am not comfortable with the truck. For that reason, I have contacted the Service Manager to get more detail, and he has not returned my calls. Now you understand why I will not do any more business with this dealership, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. More
I never got my paperwork after receiving my vehicle after the inspection. My appointment time was at 10:30am Thursday July 30. I arrived at 10:15 & a service advisor did not come out until 11am the inspection. My appointment time was at 10:30am Thursday July 30.
