Professional, Safe, Slower than Expected Jim Ellis Service Center was very professional and VERY prepared to work with customers in a COVID-19-safe and hygienically cautious manner. Even the vehicle was protected with disposable covers for the seat, steering wheel, gear shift and floor mat.The only negative was that the oil change took approximately two hours - longer than I expected. It was awful. If you can avoid Jim Ellis Chevrolet please do. You will wait for 3 hours before any type of update and you will only get that update if you call the service manager(Vladimir was the most helpf do. You will wait for 3 hours before any type of update and you will only get that update if you call the service manager(Vladimir was the most helpful and he wasn’t my service advisor). Other than that I doubt I’d return to Jim Ellis at all. So much for putting people first. 0/10 would not recommend. (If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately that is not an option) They give you a number you can text to receive updates from your service advisor but they won’t reply so it’s pointless. More

My Camaro So the staff was friendly and everything was well organiyed. I booked the appointment online, that worked like a treat. I dropped the car off for the regular 67.500 mile service and I had 2 extra things to look at, Check Engine Light & Vibrations in the steering wheel. Car is in the dealership for one day, service is done, new parts are in, wheels were newly balanced. I pick up the car, and after a quarter of a mile, the check engine light goes on, again. I return the car to the dealership, it gets checked and they find a broken ignition coil that needs to be replaced. A couple of days later, I pick up the car again and the I receive the information, everything is now fine, technician took the car for a 10mile test drive, and says everything is good. I get on the interstate 5min later, and the vibration in the steeringwheel is still there and I wonder, if the technician didn't notice that on a 10mile test drive. The balancing of the wheel didn't have any effect, so I will have to return the car, again. On a side note, and now I know I am picky, water for the windshield was not filled up during inspection, either. More
