Poor Slow Service I made a reservation the day before my truck was serviced. In making the reservation I was told the service center was wide open, what time would I li I made a reservation the day before my truck was serviced. When I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment I was told the service center was covered up and it would be at least 2 hours before my truck would be finished. When I explained what I was told the day before and asked why the long delay I was told they were covered up because people were concerned they may have to shut the service center down. I asked how could that many people be in front of me when I had a reservation. I was told because there are. That's not an excuse. People showed up and were serviced before me simply because they showed up. Why make a reservation when walk-ins are put in front of you? Unacceptable! After the service tech looked over my truck he gave me an estimate of just over $89.00 I told him I have a maintenance contract and the oil change was free, please look up my contract. 2 Hours later when my truck was ready I was given a bill of over $101.00. The service rep wasn't there and another rep looked up my contract and confirmed there were no charges. The rep handling my service showed up, the other rep told him that I had the maintenance contract and I didn't have any charges. The rep gave me the original bill and said "just take this". I did and left. As noted I told the rep I had a contract and asked him to look it up which he didn't. And then he wouldn't take the time to give me proper paperwork. Unacceptable! I have had 2 bad experiences with the service center, this being the second. The only reason I come to this service center is because I have the maintenance contract. This is the third Chevrolet truck I have had, outstanding vehicles. I was given a good price when I bought the truck but that is where my positive opinion ends with Jim Ellis Chevrolet. I wish I could have given less than 1 star and more important I wish I had bought a truck at a different Chevrolet dealer. Jerry Keirns More
Well everything was almost fine except for picking up my vehicle out in the lot in the rain. The vehicle could’ve and should’ve been delivered in one of the empty lanes of the service entrance as other dea vehicle out in the lot in the rain. No instead make them walk out in the rain to get their vehicle. someone didn’t think that out very well did they. Oh I was a waiter for my first service 90+ minutes with an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation & Nitrogen top off. More
