I had my 1992 Silverado towed to your facility because it wouldn't start. Before I had it towed, I had to get pre-approval from a manager because of the age of my vehicle. After the vehicle was towed to your facility, I received a call from Luis and he said I needed to leave a $600 deposit before you would even look at my vehicle. I was very upset because you didn't tell me this until after you had my vehicle. I talked to Brandon Colon; I didn't appreciate things he said to me. He was condescending. He basically said because my vehicle was so old I might abandon my truck if it cost too much to repair. I told him that I had received approval to bring my vehicle in. He basically said I was lying and hadn't received approval. He told me to pay the $600 deposit or come get my vehicle. I told him I would have my vehicle towed to another repair facility. However, I thought about it and told him I would pay the $600 deposit. Brandon would not accept my credit information over the phone. I had to drive to your facility to pay the deposit. The clerk accepted my credit card without checking my identification. I believe Brandon purposely inconvenienced me. The vehicle was checked out and the mechanic was able to get it started quickly. When I came to pick my vehicle up, there was a problem with the payment. The manager on duty had trouble understanding that I had given your facility a $600 deposit and was due the balance of my deposit. It was clearly written on the ticket that I was due the balance of my deposit. After two managers couldn't seem to understand what was going on, they called Luis at home. I was treated like a dishonest person. I've had my vehicle repaired at your facility before with no problems. Overall, this was a very bad experience. You have good mechanics, not so good management. For the record, I am a gainfully employed, college educated professional. I can afford to pay to have my vehicle repaired. I will be in the market for a NEW vehicle soon. I will get a new pickup or SUV. I will not be purchasing it from Jim Ellis. More
Extremely poor experience. Started off with they thought I showed up without an appointment which I had. They Couldn’t find my warranty that Your Dealership sold me when I arrived to drop my car off. They called the next day telling me how much all the repairs were going to be. Again no mention of warranty as they didn’t know. So I was quoted a few thousand dollars. Again more frustration. Showed up to pick my car up and the person had no idea what was repaired and what wasn’t done. Acted as if she didn’t care. It was a nightmare. Was looking at trading in the vehicle but ended up going to another dealership and trading it in as I couldn’t imagine doing business with this dealership that was so unorganized and lack of Custer service. Brandon finally sorted everything out but only after I had expressed frustration at every part of the ordeal More
I purchased my car from Jim Ellis Chevrolet in December 2016. Tried to do the right thing by taking my car for service, to the dealership I purchased the car from. Literally every single time I have dealt with this company there has a been an issue. In January 2019, engine light came on for code p1101. I paid $450 for recommended full fuel induction service. Only to have to be prompted by engine light to bring vehicle back for service, twice more within 6 months for the same issue and code read p1101. Once in March 2019 and again in July 2019. Each time was some weird excuse about the sensor may be faulty or the intercooler hose. Now I am back again in March 2020, for the same related issue and had to pay $170 out of pocket to have my throttle body cleaned. Plus I was advised to get another full fuel induction service. Not to mention I wasn’t notified about what recommended actions would be done, until after I arrived to pick up my car. I only was notified when the car was ready and sent a bill soon as I arrived to pick up. I specifically asked before hand, if the service would be warranted by the company since I had been in for service for the same issue not even a year ago. Rather than take responsibility for they’re bad diagnosis, I waste my hard earned money and time, for the 4th time. I will never bring my vehicle to Jim Ellis Chevrolet again. More
I have been trying to have a simple repair done since at least Dec of 2019. Simply replace the top cover piece of my passenger mirror. They we’re supposed to call me in a couple days to reschedule and that’s been about a month ago. I am very dissatisfied with there service. More

I feel that the people that assisted me were more concerned with selling the vehicle then they were with making big profits.
