Horrible Customer Service I try NOT to take my car to Jim Ellis Chevrolet for service, but last week I had no choice when my check engine light came on Thursday at 6pm. I call I try NOT to take my car to Jim Ellis Chevrolet for service, but last week I had no choice when my check engine light came on Thursday at 6pm. I called the service dept and left a voice message letting them know I needed to bring in my car ASAP and got no response. I brought it in at 7am the next day and was basically shamed because I had the audacity to come in WITHOUT making an appointment first (because we all plan on our cars warning lights to go on, right?!). Because I had no appointment, I was told they may not get to look at my car until Saturday, which was fine. I did not receive a call on Friday even though I called around 5pm to inquire what the status was. I received a call late Saturday morning telling me they would not look at it until Monday because the warning light was related to the transmission. It is now Monday at 3:12om and I still have no idea what is going on with my car. I called and left a message, but I have found that the service folks at this dealership do not care about MY TIME- they operate strictly on what is convenient for them. I am extremely frustrated with this dealership!!!!! More

Service was ok. No real complaints other than I did not get the emblem package I had removed from my truck returned to me, and they were unable to locate it when I pi No real complaints other than I did not get the emblem package I had removed from my truck returned to me, and they were unable to locate it when I picked up my truck, so I had to return to the dealership at a different time to pick it up. Service took longer than anticipated, but I guess that's to be expected. I did appreciate the Lyft to get to work after dropping my truck off, though! More

I was very unhappy with Katy. She told me to bring by car in on Friday Jan. 17 and they would do diagnostic and order part if needed. I am very ill and mornings are a challenge. I did not hear a word Friday. I called Saturday and she told me nothing was done Friday and nothing would be done Saturday. She would call me MONDAY MORNING. After calling several times, I finally got her. She was not sure when car would be ready. Finally at 1:30 she called. I had let my caregiver leave for the day. We arranged for Lyft to pick up up on Tuesday at 10:00, I waited til 10:15. I called her and she had forgotten. She finally called Lyft. I have been a customer for five years and have never received service service this bad. More
