First Time in 5 years I was NOT happy with the service My Equinox was making a sound like a sewing machine. I was told it appeared the car was using an excessive amount of oil and to keep track of when oi My Equinox was making a sound like a sewing machine. I was told it appeared the car was using an excessive amount of oil and to keep track of when oil needed to be added if any. They would diagnose the oil usage when I brought it back from the next oil change...which would be 5,000 more miles. The car is still making the same noise, although it seems to be not as loud as before. Three (3) days later, my Driver Information Center has the message "!Engine Power is Reduced". I tried to speak with the service advisor that assisted me when I brought it in for service this week, but she was busy. It's now 1.5 hours and I have not had a return call. I don't know if it's safe to drive the car to bring it back or if needs to be towed! More
