For the first time, they said the water pump was broken and the battery was poor. They replaced both of them and charged me $520. It's expensive, but I was not mad by this. Let me tell you more... Immediately after I picked up my car, I found the engine cooling fan sounds really loud and worried about the overheating again. I asked, the representative said: I don't know, maybe this is another issue. I further asked the details how they inspected and repaired my car. The representative said it's not her who did the repairing so she didn't know. Further more, the car began to vibrate at idle since then. If you check the log, you will notice that I submit the appointment schedule again as early as 09/27. But I was too busy so I rearranged several times. But one thing I want to stress is that after the first check, I didn’t drive too much until the second service because I knew it’s abnormal. You have my mileage data, I am not lying. So after the first check. I was so disappointed and asked another mechanical shop for help, the mechanic suggested me to check the ignition coil and spark plugs for the vibration idle issue. I changed them myself and it indeed became better. But still the vibration and idle and overheating persistent, even though both of them are not as severe as before. I back to Jim Ellis Chevrolet again and let you checked again on 10/21. You found my cooling fan was broken and asked me over $1000 for replacement! What a joke! I refused the replacement and didn't want to pay for the ~$160 inspection fee because you didn't solve my overheating issue for the first time! You even didn't find the problem of cooling fan last time! When I asked you to help me to check the engine cooling system for the overheated engine, how can you only do part of the job??? I talked to the representative, I talked to the manager, but they insist that I should pay the inspection. Now, here’s some excuses both the representative and the manager used: • When we replaced the water pump, we didn’t do the inspection that we did this time, thus you need to pay for the inspection fee. My argument: if I asked you to check the overheating issue and I told you the engine cooling fan was keeping running after I parked my car, then why you didn’t inspect the cooling fan as well when I came the first time, and charge me the inspection fee at that time? • It’s normal that each time we find one issue. Last time we found the water pump issue and fixed that, this time we found the cooling fan issue. You go any other dealership, they will do the same. My argument: my understanding is that when my car has a problem, I need it to be fixed no matter how many issues caused the problem. If only the water pump failed, inspect it and tell me; if both the water pump and the fooling fan failed, inspect it and tell me both! • It’s been a month since your last service, things could change since then My argument: what can I say? Probability speaking, there’s nothing wrong. The car could be OK after you served and then went wrong immediately after I picked it up. But is the likelihood high or low? Check when I asked the second service and check what’s the mileage difference between the two services and then, ask yourself whether your argument is of high possibility to be true or not. Ok, so I paid the inspection fee today (10/22). You didn’t find anything wrong with the idle vibration as I requested you to check. Now I have a strong feeling that each time if multiply problem happens, you either stop after finding the first reason or you intentionally hide the other reasons so that I have to come back again and pay the inspection fee every time. Please, ask from the deepest of your hearts, whether you only care about earning money or you really care about having your customers’ car issue fixed? More

Work seems fine, customer service okay The service advisor was helpful and nice when dropping off my car. I was told I would be contacted via the dealership phone number, but when he called to tell me the work was done he called from his cell phone (the number came up as a different business so it went to voicemail), and then called a second time from a different unknown number. I called back both times and there was no answer. When I went to the dealership this advisor could not be located so a different person (Vladimir, who was very nice) had to complete my service but I did not get all of the information I had requested about my vehicle as I was never able to speak with my original service advisor. Shuttle driver and service were excellent. More
