Service Maintenance My first time to Jim Ellis service. I had an appointment for oil and filter change and had to wait almost 1.5 hours for me to get done. Even through my service manager was very nice and attentive it seemed to take a long time with an appointment. They seemed to be fully staffed, but took a while to get my truck back to get the maintenance done. I now have to bring my truck back in for painting evaluation since I ran out of time to wait. More

efficent I fully expected to be without my car for a least a week as I had electrical problems. It was diagnosed within a days time. Started ok, almost walked I like to know the out the door price up front. When dealing with Greg “Rocket”. He was very eager when texting him. He gave me an OTD price which I told him would work. I told him that I was coming from almost two hours away. Once I arrived, everything seemed to be going fine. We went for a test drive and really liked the vehicle. Once we returned, I felt it odd that no one had shown me the price or the final numbers. We were then brought back to the Finance office with Sam. Right before going in, Greg made the statement that “he believed that they (finance dept) was able to get a lower price. As I sat down, Sam began filling out all the paperwork and I still had no idea of the final numbers. I was assuming it was what Greg and I had discussed over text. Once Sam did show me the final numbers they were way off from what was originally discussed. I was quoted $612 monthly payment but was told it was going to be $675. I told Sam at this point that this was not what we discussed and that I was furious that I drove over 2 hours and I felt that they had done a “bait and switch”. As I was getting ready to leave, Sam asked if he could work on the numbers. I told him that he had 5 minutes. Sam did work diligently and got closer to what we had discussed. The payment was still higher than we discussed but I had promised my wife that I wouldn’t come home without a new vehicle for her, and after 15 years of marriage, I have yet to break a promise. After completing the paperwork, Greg attempted to show me the features of the vehicle, but it quickly became apparent that he really did not know much of anything about the features. My 13 year old daughter figured out and taught me most of the features as we drove the 2 hours home. Now, I will recommend and already have told 3 coworkers about my dealings with Jim Ellis as a whole, but I truly wish that my whole experience was better. More
