I was told that my 2018 Chevrolet Colorado had been in an accident and the warranty maybe invalid because of that. Car fax clearly stated at the top of the page that there had been no accidents on the vehicle. It is very unlikely I will return to Jim Ellis Chevrolet. More
Returning Customer I have many choices regarding GM Service centers. I moved away five years ago but often come to Atlanta. One the past few trips that are twelve hours I have many choices regarding GM Service centers. I moved away five years ago but often come to Atlanta. One the past few trips that are twelve hours of driving each way I found that the air conditioning would not work well in the hot, moist Georgia air. I decided that I wanted to get this checked out in Atlanta--the place where I thought the problem presented itself. Vladimir (service consultant) received my car and oversaw the progress of the service. The car was in the shop all day. After completing all the checks and tests that could be performed the tech could not find anything wrong. The car was returned to me and I drove the twelve hours the next day and the air conditioning worked fine. I am pleased to write about this experience in order to help other customers. The tech could have found anything to "pad the bill," but did not. This service could have been billed by hours spent, but the service was "diagnostic" and billed at a flat rate much less than the hours. I feel that this honesty and customer service is the reason I used this shop before I moved away and these qualities are the reason I came back. More
3rd Purchase This is my first purchase from the used car side of Jim Ellis. I will say there were multiple concerns during the purchase and even after. I told the This is my first purchase from the used car side of Jim Ellis. I will say there were multiple concerns during the purchase and even after. I told the salesman I would put a specific down payment and he told finance something completely different and I confronted him and he said he would fix it and never did. It was 3 days after the purchase when I was able to even pick up the vehicle as I understand it recently arrived at the dealership and needed some work. It would’ve been fine if I was told in the beginning. I had the vehicle for 1 week before I started to have issues and I notified the salesman, 3 weeks later I finally got the vehicle in and one of the managers told me they wanted to wait until my warranty kicked in before fixing my vehicle. Now there’s an out of pocket fee for me. I’m very disappointed in this entire transaction. More
This company went far beyond my expectations Not only do they do a good job on the service of my brakes, they detailed my car when they were finished, and I never even asked him to do that! When Not only do they do a good job on the service of my brakes, they detailed my car when they were finished, and I never even asked him to do that! When I came to pick up my car it was shiny clean and spotless. the car still looks brand new because it only has 4,000 miles on it. it looked like it just came off the showroom floor, now that is service beyond any other dealership I've ever dealt with!!! Uses Excuse to Replicate Issue Until Warranty is Done Brought my car back for the same issues over and over. The electrical still isn't fixed and screen is still broken. They keep using the same excuse sa Brought my car back for the same issues over and over. The electrical still isn't fixed and screen is still broken. They keep using the same excuse saying they can't replicate the issue --- obviously you aren't going to be able to experience my vehicle unless you drive it the same amount of time I do. The sales side is amazing and always friendly and great. I have purchased several vehicles from Jim Ellis. It's the service side that needs issues. If you check my vehicle records you will see the number of times my cars have been in service -- for the same issues, over and over again. You cannot keep using the excuse that you need to replicate the issue until the warranty runs out -- which has happened to me. Please just fix the issues. That's all we ask. More

Returned for an unresolved issue! After having a leak "repaired" I was forced to return due to the leak representing itself after a year. I basically repeated the process all the way d After having a leak "repaired" I was forced to return due to the leak representing itself after a year. I basically repeated the process all the way down to getting the stain cleaned. Being told one thing only to have someone say something else. I guess this is the service you get when your warranty is soon to expire. More

This time I was told that I had to make an appointment. Since when??? Because of that I had to drive around with the problem for another TWO days with my fingers crossed. My appointment was at 10:30am on Thursday. I got there two hours early. They didn't even bother to look at the car that day, which made this issue go over the weekend. If customers are REQUIRED to make an appointment, you should be REQUIRED to honor it. Had they done so, they could have ordered the part sooner than later. More
