Went in for door repair, woke up to oil leak Went in for what thought was a quick door handle fix. Told they hoped they had the right part, after they ordered it two weeks prior. At same time technician told me I’m due for my 90k service. Basically felt like I was being told, well we may not have part today but here you can do this for $800 and then come back for what will be a $950 repair. Was told after waiting two hours, I’d have to come back another day. So I returned two days later, advisor didn’t initially recall any of the conversation but then turned out bc I was “already in the system” it was fine. And I was like “you told me to schedule another appointment and we agreed on Thursday.” Was ready at 930 Thursday AM, 90 minutes after the drop off. Picked up at 1030. Drove the car to the house, which is 2 miles away and it stayed park until this morning. Ran out to run errand at 715a this morning. Came home to puddle of oil. Moved car and waiting 10 minutes. Sure enough, oil leak. Called advisor this morning (Friday). First question to me telling them my oil leaked overnight is “have I had an oil change recently” I said, 2000 miles ago”. “well, we need to see what happens can you bring it in”. My response was “how does it pass the ‘multi point inspection’” again just told to bring it in. I don’t trust them to take it in, Ive called and left message with service manager. No call back as of yet. Very disappointed bc we bought our car there, and feel like the service department has owly gone downhill for 5 years and they are always trying to find something wrong with the car other than what we’ve taken in for. I don’t want to single out the advisor bc I don’t think fair to that person. Because I’m not so sure that she’s not doing what they’re being asked to do by management. More
