Arrived: 1ish, My check in text is 1:49 At 3:57 I asked, Is there an ETA The person I was working with came into the waiting area and proceeded to explain that they were 2 hours behind and there were still people before me and they would have my car in soon. I left around 5pm ____ Why didn't someone let me know there was a delay? I could have made other arrangements. ??????? More

Friendly staff that is overbooked and overworked I have been taking my car to get serviced at Jim Ellis Chevrolet for almost 3 years now. I never had any serious issues, and the service staff members I have been taking my car to get serviced at Jim Ellis Chevrolet for almost 3 years now. I never had any serious issues, and the service staff members have all been very friendly and informative. That being said, recently they have become serverely overbooked, and the quality of service has naturally declined. This location used to have an express service to help handle the load by taking in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes. However, that service station was recently closed to build a new Cadillac dealership. Understandably, the staff and technicians seem to not be able to keep up with the growing service demands. This has resulted in misinformation being given to customers and work being delayed and not completed by the estimated time. It’s a shame to see the decline of this dealership’s service department as it used to be the best in town. More

Appointment didn’t mean much This particular dealership seems way too small for the number of customers and at least for me, tends to take longer than estimated for service appoin This particular dealership seems way too small for the number of customers and at least for me, tends to take longer than estimated for service appointments. This last appointment, for example, was just an oil change and tire rotation. I was told 1.5 hours when I checked in for my appointment. After more than 2 hours had passed, while I waited in the waiting room, I had heard nothing so I inquired as to the status. Well, they had just started ikon the vehicle. At least an update would have been nice, but I would have expected an appointment to be finished in time or at least close to it. It took nearly double the time. And it took almost a week just to get the appointment. Service personnel were nice, and the manager tried to explain the situation and make it right, but to me that was too late. Management seems to be aware of the problems, but don’t seem to be doing much about making it better. More
