Worst car buying experience We drove 2 hours to come not just once but twice to make a deal on a vehicle. They did not do as they told us over the phone. We sat in Blake’s chair We drove 2 hours to come not just once but twice to make a deal on a vehicle. They did not do as they told us over the phone. We sat in Blake’s chair trying to come to agreeable amount and then he asked us to move out of his cubical while we wait on financing so he can accommodate another customer. We waited well over an hour before he came back and said they were not going to agree to what they previously had told us. Waisted 4 hour drive round trip TWICE and many hours at the dealer all for nothing. They clearly don’t want to move out any vehicles unless your willing to pay the exact ticket price. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from here and forward and I will definitely be spreading the word to my friends whom are also looking to purchase vehicles. More

I love my car I love my new car. I drove over an hour to get here and it was worth it. Blake was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The Mangers were I love my new car. Experince colored by salesman I have mixed feelings regarding my vehicle purchase at Jim Ellis Chevy. I am pleased with the vehicle, but, not with the salesman I worked with. Onl I have mixed feelings regarding my vehicle purchase at Jim Ellis Chevy. I am pleased with the vehicle, but, not with the salesman I worked with. Only at the point that the sale was concluded (i.e. all the paperwork signed and the check handed over) did he let me know that there was only one key for the vehicle. I know it was technically a used car that I was buying, but we are talking about a year old $50,000+ vehicle. Not only did the salesman not say up front that one of the keys were missing, he hid the fact saying he would get it while the paperwork was being worked on. At this price point, I would have thought the dealer could have supplied the extra key. After all they are a Chevy dealer and the cost to them for an extra key is peanuts. Roll forward a few days and the dealer needs a copy of my insurance card – apparently they couldn’t find the copy I gave them when buying the car. So I receive a call from the salesman “Great News, we found the 2nd key, I am in the process of getting it from our service department. By the way, I need you to send me a copy of your insurance card to complete our paperwork” So I sent him the information he needed with a note saying “ Hope you were being honest about the 2nd key being located and not just saying it to get what you needed from me. Waiting to hear from you on this” Needless to say, I haven't heard back from him. Be wary of working with this guy. He professes to be an honest person, but (IMO) he isn’t. I may go back to this dealership in the future. But, if I do, I will not work with this salesman. More
