I didn't know where I was going but I needed a car. The Jim Ellis chevy dealership was the first dealership I saw and I actually decided to pass it by but then something told me to stop. As soon as I walked in Jacob scooped me under his wing and Melissa joined in because obviously I needed major TLC through this process. This duo assured me that getting into a brand new car was actually possible, and I was thinking I'm going to end up with something I didn't want. Melissa took me for a couple test drives and we finally decided on a 2017 chevy Malibu! I was like "I'm willing to take a 2016 ya know because I don't know if I can get a new car" (it wasn't even 2017 yet, some compromise for me, lol) none the less, Melissa assured me that I could and it happened. This process was one of the best things ever. Jacob was really nice, Melissa was so down to earth and full of faith, for me- a complete stranger, but I will always remember them for my first car buying experience. It was an all day thing but this duo made it so painless, I'd go back again. the Jim Ellis family has been great but most importantly, Jacob and Melissa were the superstars. They never left my side! More

The MOST Trustworthy Service Department If you have to bring your Chevrolet in to a dealership to have it service, there is only one place and one person that should handle your concern(s): If you have to bring your Chevrolet in to a dealership to have it service, there is only one place and one person that should handle your concern(s): Brandon Colon at Jim Ellis Chevrolet Atlanta. He is extremely polite, helpful, knowledgeable and doesn't not try to up-sale you on unnecessary services. However, what I also like about Mr. Colon's service is that he will give you a "heads-up" as to what services you should (or need) to consider in the near future to keep you vehicle in top shape. I couldn't have asked for a better service representative and as long as I have a Chevrolet, we will always give our business to Jim Ellis and will only work with Mr. Brandon Colon. .... He can't be that good you say? Well, we drive past two (2) Chevrolet dealerships just to allow him to service our vehicle. Why? Because my family and I TRUST him and he has always done well by us and our vehicle! More

Service Done With The Spirit of Excellence!!!! My spouse was in need of a new truck. His 1996 Nissan Truck was beyond repair and was requiring a tremendous amount of work. He has always dreamed of owning a Silverado Z71 for the last 14 years. We met Mike Champness several years ago at our daughter's school. He was so friendly and he told my husband that he worked for Jim Ellis. Encouraged him to call if he ever decided upon getting a new truck. My husband reached out to Mike and he went above and beyond with advise and suggestions for purchasing a Z71. He was very helpful and prompt in returning phone calls and emails. We were able to compare costs with other dealerships and none could meet the expectations from Jim Ellis. We met with Mike on Saturday March 18, 2017 to purchase our new truck. He was very patient, informative, and thorough with orientation to our new truck. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we are so glad that Mike helped to make my husband's dream come true. More

Bait and Switch My father talked online to a Salesman about a Lexus SUV. They told us it was available that day. He called on his way and of course the salesman did not pick up. When he got to the dealer they brought him in and some other salesman told him the car was already sold. He told them he just spoke with the salesman a couple hours ago online and he said it was available. Then they told him they were doing the paper work and that they "had other cars"...basically they used a good deal to try and lure people into their dealership under false pretenses and try to sell them other cars. Such a joke, The reason why they lose out to carmax....definitely one of the worst experiences as a purchaser I can say I have ever heard. More
took down payment &promised me a car they sold 3 days prior I was searching for chevy corvette z06, with the options I wanted. I'm from virginia and finally found the color and options at Jim Ellis. I was so happy to see there was a 10,000 rebate as well. I felt I was pretty lucky to find this and talked with an employee who promised it was saved for me, took my credit card for $1,000 hold. That was friday and I was prepared to fly down to Atlanta sunday to purchase and take possession. Saturday they called to say it was not available, was sold 3 days prior. I was upset and asked them to help me find another similar model and a few times they said they would, but never got back to me. If I were you, I would not buy from them whether I was local or out of town. They never assumed any responsibility and never tried to make it right. More
