I am a Jim Ellis customer, buying 3 Audi vehicles and serving them there. Jim Ellis Chevy however is not at that standard. Two times I had to return to the dealership after service because a technician f serving them there. Jim Ellis Chevy however is not at that standard. Two times I had to return to the dealership after service because a technician forgot to do something. Most recently they forgot to reinstall my rim lug covers. Minor, but still inconvenient. A couple years ago a tech for got to tighten a lug nut so it came loose and rattled around in the cover. Returned because of rattling noise and service advisor removed cover to find the lug nut. That was potentially dangerous. More
My service advisor tried to tell me that I needed new tires. The ones on the truck were brand new ( had put them on less than 3 weeks before). I also "bought" spray touch up paint from the parts departme tires. The ones on the truck were brand new ( had put them on less than 3 weeks before). I also "bought" spray touch up paint from the parts department, and after 5 weeks or so, I came by and another parts guy looked at my order and told me that he didn't do what he was supposed to with the order and would get him to follow up with me on Monday. Didn't hear anything,so I came by Tuesday morning and the original guy tried to tell me that it was put on backorder the Friday before (it was on backorder originally, but he tried to tell me that they use the VIN to specially make up the paint. Got my car back and my radio does not work. Called the dealership to ask what they did and they lied saying nothing was done but it worked before I took it there. Horrible. Brought in for hvac repair. Says I needed a new condenser. I said no way. Got charged $300 for diagnostic test. Kept it there week before test. Brought in for hvac repair.
