Purchased tires for my Prius in 2021 because of the tire warranty. Service dept did not put me on their schedule twice even though I had sch two appointments. Gave my husband a last minute same day app for warranty. Service dept did not put me on their schedule twice even though I had sch two appointments. Gave my husband a last minute same day app for oil change and tire rotation, the low tire pressure light was on. Husband got half way home and saw the tire light still on, turned around went back.Victoria ended up telling him she looked at the tires and said they are fine ,that in order to do a diagnostic test it would cost $170 to find out if the sensor is defective. I bought tires from Jim Ellis again( second time) because of the lifetime warranty. Please help me understand how I can be confident that I’m not losing air in the tires what with the light on. I don’t even know if they tried to reset the sensor. I would like this matter revisited as it is not safe to travel on vacation with the tire sensor light on. Please contact me with a text to 678 8521698 as I am at work in healthcare and can not take calls. I can not possibly pay $170 for a diagnostic test that you may come back and say “0h it’s defective and will cost you this much”.
