The good news is that VW national and Jim Ellis in particular, worked together and responded and replaced a defective part (for the 2nd time) and re-wrote the contract correctly, I appreciate the follow-up and customer contact provided by Jim Ellis VW and by DeMarkus Tate in particular. I met DeMarkus by randomly approaching his desk for service. In the ensuing 2 years, he has always responded promptly. He listens, explains the work to be done, and follows up where necessary. Jim Ellis VW is DeMarkus Tate to me. He is the reason I still have that VW CC and continue with Jim Ellis VW. DeMarkus is to be respected and appreciated. More

Oil change and recall fixes I received notice that my vehicle had two separate recall situations. I was in a bind as I was only in town for 4 days and needed my vehicle. After a number of emails, the sent me some pictures of the car and on the day I was going to test drive the car, they told me that the price has now gone up to $20,500 because they "posted the wrong number" and stated that they'd advertised the car for the price they bought it. They also told me to "verify any information in question with Jim Ellis Volkswagen Kennesaw", even though THEIR OWN WEBSITE stated that the price of the car is $18,175. The price on their website is still at $18,175 as I am writing this review. I contacted them about this, however the representative refused to honor the original listing price. They provided me with no evidence that they bought the car for the price they claimed to. Their original asking price was at the exact KBB "Fair Purchase Price" and they now want to add about $2,000 more to it. This is a textbook example of the bait-and-switch. More
