What an experience. From the moment I walked in and told the salesman my parameters, until I left the lot, I felt like a burden. The salesman (mike) told me I had little choice or option on his lot (without the salesman my parameters, until I left the lot, I felt like a burden. The salesman (mike) told me I had little choice or option on his lot (without looking) after telling him my price range, mileage etc. After convincing him to at least look on his computer, we found a nice FJ cruiser...in my price range. Wild. So I found the car I wanted myself, but no big deal. After leaving to look elsewhere and coming back a few hours later, I decided to go for it. Mike and I were able to negotiate a fair price considering some cosmetic damage. When it came time to finance, I was sent to Chris. I've never felt like someone was so adamant in NOT trying to work for me. Continued to tell me my pay verification wouldn't be accepted by the bank, without ever actually sending it to the bank (he slipped and let it be known he hadn't actually submitted my documents yet. Documents which EASILY verified my income). So I went on my own to a credit union, and what do you know? I got a loan that day at a rate 10 percent better than the dealership offered. The ONLY reason I have them my business is the vehicle itself. I was able to purchase a powertrain warranty on it and left feeling like I had a good purchase. 3 hours after leaving the lot, a code pops for the cat converter. I tell the salesman, who responds that he will tell his boss. I hear nothing for TWELVE days. When I reach back out, they let me know it was sold as is, and the warranty doesn't start for 30 days. So basically, I would never ever suggest a single person spend a dollar here, unless you are willing to operate the entire sales experience yourself. Truly pathetic experience. More
