At the conclusion of my last review, I said "this is not over". Here is part 2. My wife and I retrieved the car after the SECOND repair, and I finally got a chance to speak face to face with the servic not over". Here is part 2. My wife and I retrieved the car after the SECOND repair, and I finally got a chance to speak face to face with the service manager Rich. After I layed out all the facts, Rich admitted that they were at fault for lousy communication, and he promised to "make it right" by waiving the unauthorized extra costs. So far so good. Upon driving the vehicle home, my wife stated the vehicle was still not repaired. She and I were not happy campers. I called and made arrangements to get the car in there the following day FOR THE THIRD TIME. Rich called and said although they replaced the master cylinder during the second repair and drove the car 62 miles, upon returning to the dealership, the brake pedal AGAIN went all the way to the floor while backing into a parking space. At that point, Rich had no choice but to admit they had no idea what the problem was, and they had numerous calls, emails, and faxes to Chrysler for help. They were told that neglecting to install a new proportioning valve when changing out the entire brake system caused the first 2 master cylinders to fail. In summation, they finally correctly repaired the vehicle AFTER 3 VISITS TOTALING 5 FULL WEEKS. They recouped $275.76 for the proportioning valve they should have known was needed in the first place, and to top things off, when we picked up the car, THE GAS TANK WARNING LIGHT WAS ON. In retrospect, maybe we should have taken the vehicle to a Chrysler/Jeep dealer - oh wait a minute, we did. MICK'S - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, INCOMPETENT MECHANICS, CHEATS & LIARS. MICK, ARE YOU LISTENING????????? MICK, DO YOU CARE???????? More
