He was very helpful and rode with us on a test drive as we knew very little about the area. After the test ride we were able to make a deal. We picked up the vehicle the next evening, around closing time. We experienced a problem on the way home with it and contacted Cody regarding the problem that night . He was not at work the next day but was helpful in directing my problem to another team member, Mr. Lorts, but didn't communicate directly with him, only voice messages left for him, eventually leading us to work with Mr. Tom Stegeman (OUTSTANDING). He was very prompt in helping us resolve our problem. We were able to return the vehicle 4 days, (they wanted it sooner but we couldn't get it there sooner) after purchase for repair. Upon arrival, my wife was met at the door by Cody, he was very friendly and apologetic that we had a problem. He directed her to the service waiting area, which was awesome. The problem was resolved very quickly and she was on her way. Very professional sales and service, I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a vehicle to buy it from this company. Communication problems. We had a right front break problem and left the vehicle for the next day. The technician ball parked the price at $350 (my opinion) . The next day Ford called and said it would cost $720 (Actually $709). Thinking that the tech lowballed the price I needed the 2009 Escape fixed anyway. Ford failed to tell me after the description of services on "my" bill that both the right and left need new rotors and break pads when fixing one until after I got the Escape home and called the service manager. I believe that the techs need to tell the customer when fixing breaks that both needed to be replaced and in the description of work on the bill that needs to be stated also. Also they were to call me when the Escape was to be done before I left work at 3:00 p.m. They didn't. I walked to Ford granted they are relatively close with my wife on the way to Ford if the vehicle wasn't done yet. I hated to keep calling back to see when the Escape was going to be done. They called my office at 3:10 p.m. (answering machine verified). Joe Machen's people were nice but I didn't know both were going to replaced and the bill times two. More
