Poor Service Poor service from Joe Myers Ford Service Department on my recent repair. I scheduled an appointment for Thursday, 12/7 at 10:30am and dropped my truc Poor service from Joe Myers Ford Service Department on my recent repair. I scheduled an appointment for Thursday, 12/7 at 10:30am and dropped my truck off the evening of 12/6. I did not receive a call from the Service Advisor Friday or Saturday. On Monday I left the advisor a voicemail and continued to call daily. On Saturday, 12/16, I had finally had enough of leaving voicemail messages and asked for General Manager Carolyn Cross. To my surprise another voicemail to Ms. Cross' assistant, Emma Jones. I did not receive a call from either, but my message was transferred to one of the Service Managers. He apologized for my service request being lost as the Service Advisor was no longer with Joe Myers Ford. Still no return call from Ms. Cross. To make a long story shorter, it took 44 days for the truck to be repaired. When the new Service Advisor called to let me know the truck was ready, I immediately tried to reach Ms. Cross again. Her line was answered by Emma Jones who immediately told me Ms. Cross was not available. I told her I was coming to pick up my truck and wanted to speak to someone about the poor service. She agreed to meet me. When I arrived and asked for her, I was met by Ms. Jones and the Service Director, Derick Kopp. Within three-four minutes of discussing the service issues, Ms. Jones and Mr. Kopp gave me the royal brush-off. Ms. Jones was in a hurry to head off to lunch with Ms. Cross. Mr. Kopp stayed with me until I left the dealership. Sad story to tell as the truck is still under warranty and the lack of communication from the Joe Myers Service Department. I have archived the text messages and voicemails as proof to my 44 day time frame. Joe Myers Ford advertises as open communication from the management - something I failed to receive. A little apology and understanding from Ms. Cross, Ms. Jones or Derick Kopp would have made a tremendous difference. I purchased my truck in good faith and expect the service to be the same. More

He was ready when I arrived and had several options ready to review with me that met my stated needs. He was very professional and friendly, made sure to show me the key features of the vehicle (F250), and answered all of my questions. The negotiation process was straightforward, and he didn't try and apply any high pressure sales techniques that I've often run into at other dealerships. We had completed our negotiations over the phone later in the day, and when I returned he already had most of the paperwork ready to go, which sped things up for me. Finance was great, and got me in and out quickly, and made me aware of the extended warranty options, but didn't try and push them on me, which I appreciated. Overall, about as good a car buying experience as you can have. More
