A week leading up to making my purchase, he was always available to answer any questions that I had. I never felt any pressure to buy and felt he was only trying to find the perfect vehicle for me. He's definitely a good person and an asset to Joe Myers Ford. I will be back and/or refer business to him. The sales manager also introduced herself to me and I felt that they truly wanted to earn my business. Once the sale was completed, the entire dealership from the finance department to service really worked together as one cohesive unit. More
Joe Myers Ford is TERRIBLE! We brought in our car for our routine Oil Change & Tire Rotation. In addition, we requested your team to look into the cabin air filter/HVAC system We brought in our car for our routine Oil Change & Tire Rotation. In addition, we requested your team to look into the cabin air filter/HVAC system as there was a smell, the team in the past has dismissed as a problem. I am not sure why an HVAC flush was recommended as it would do nothing for a smell as that is an issue with the cabin air filter. They took advantage of my wife's inexperience with cars and recommended maintenance that did not need to be performed. In the past your service reps have stated how hard it is to get to and how inconvenient it is to replace the cabin air filter so my guess is they wanted to make some money while not addressing the actual issues. Upon picking up our vehicle we noticed the AC was not working properly and blowing warm air. We brought the car back immediately to have your team take a look. While Noel & Michael (service reps) do their job. We learned that the issue with the AC was due to the service technicians over pressuring the HVAC system when they re-charged the HVAC system after the flush. The Service Rep team initially tried to state that the AC blowing warm air and the issue they had discovered with the system being over pressured was unrelated. He then went on to further say that they had to go through "a lot" to find this issue and that we were not going to be charged as a favor to us. There are many disturbing issues that arise from this interaction. 1. The HVAC system was overpressure. This indicates that the service technicians who were re-charging the HVAC system, either did not have a pressure gauge or they were not paying attention to the gauge. This cannot be excused as we trust your/any service department to perform services on our vehicles. What if this lack of attention to detail had been present while working on a safety system? 2. When bringing the vehicle back for troubleshooting, upon finding the issue, the Service Rep tried to make it appear the issues were unrelated, and stated they found "air" in the evaporator and all the work they performed to find this would be free of charge as a favor to us. He continued to state that this was an unrelated issue until asked to see what was found from the technician notes. The technician notes stated that the HVAC system was found to be on the high side when reading the pressures, and they had to recharge the system correctly. These comments and findings from your own technicians are proof that the issues with the AC system blowing hot air was caused by the service technicians initially and are completely related. 3. Upon us pointing this out, the service rep began to change the story about issues being unrelated and point out that the technician he brought to troubleshoot the issues, was not the same on from our initial service (this should not matter as your technicians should all have the same qualifications to work on our vehicles). Had your service rep admitted fault, we would have dismissed the issue; however, as your team tried to paint the picture that the issues were unrelated we find this behavior unacceptable. We are repeat customers from 2013 and time and time again we have given this service department chances to work with us on our vehicle. In the past when we have brought our vehicle in for service we have also had issues. The last time we brought it in, we were promised the oil change would take an hour. Upon waiting 7hrs at the dealership, at approximately 3PM, (getting there at 8AM with an appointment) we asked if our vehicle was ready. Your staff seemed annoyed and stated that they were busy and that people had been waiting since 12PM. As one of the first appointments, our car should have been serviced first and it appears your staff had not recollection that they had customers there ALL day. There is no reason for us to be waiting at the dealer for 7hrs, and to make matters worse this was also my wife's birthday, and she spent it waiting at your service department. Another incident that comes to mind is when we picked up our car after there were transmission issues. It appears there was an empty bag of chips and a cold half-finished can of soda in our cup holder. This means that the service technician working on our vehicle had just taken a lunch break in our car. This is highly inappropriate behavior. Their team caused issues with our vehicle's HVAC system after performing UNWANTED service and then tried to say they did nothing wrong (which conflicted with the technician notes). We have not been contacted back regarding the issues; after having spoken to the service director. Update 8/22/2017 We just received a call from Joe Meyers. They called to see "what will it take for you to take this review down". We wanted them to admit guilt, and refund us for the unwanted services. They wanted me to take down my review; I said i would add an update. They told me to go else where, which was already the plan. We are reporting this to the BBB More
