Great people - Great service - I'm extremely happy I wanted a new car & had owned one Honda, a Prelude. I loved that car & it gave me many years of excellent service. In my new search, I visited a few Honda dealers to gather information & John Eagle was on my list. I called the main phone number, & ended up taking with Lee Ward. He was most friendly, helpful, & answered all of my questions. We agreed to meet at the dealership, and did meet the next day. He could not have been nicer. I told him I was most interested in the Honda Passport Elite AWD, after reading many rave reviews & the highest marks. There was one on the lot. We went out and got in, then Lee showed me a lot of the features on the car. Next, we took a short drive. I found the controls easy to use, the steering smooth & effortless, and overall, a really pleasant experience, Quickly, I began to feel, "This is the car I Have to have." Next, I met Oliver Lacy, new car sales manager, and told him the color I preferred was "Obsidian Blue Pearl." He got online and started searching, but after a time, told me that color was not available anywhere in this part of the country. He showed me a white Passport, and reluctantly, I said I would take it, but, later, had serious second thoughts. I asked Mr. Lacy to keep looking, as I searched some more myself. Immediately, he went to work, and had several employees search on their computers. After a few minutes, Lee Ward came over and told me "Hey, we just found one!". I was elated. Apparently, earlier, a blue Passport showed up at a dealer in Austin, but it appears, the people there had declined to let go of it. My guess is that your team at John Eagle were so persuasive, they changed their minds, & amazingly, a few days later, I was looking at my beautiful new BLUE Passport. Lee Ward had told me it would take about 10 days to get it to Dallas, but it arrived in just 5 days, and I drove it home. I am completely happy, & so grateful for the professional care & perserverance everybody at John Eagle showed to me. When I need another car, I assure you, I'll buy it from you folks, and I'll spread the word around as much as I can. I want to especially thank & commend Lee for all of his help, as well, as Mr. Lacy & James Adams. I don't know the names of all the guys who worked their computers until they located my Passport, but, Mr. Lacy, you know who the are, & please for me, give them all my heartfelt thanks.
