Terrible customer service and incorrect information in their online postings. I called about a car on 04/13/2021 and someone from the dealership called me back the next day, around lunchtime, to set up a their online postings. I called about a car on 04/13/2021 and someone from the dealership called me back the next day, around lunchtime, to set up an appointment to come see the car. Scheduled it for that night and before my wife, baby daughter, and I left to drive up to the dealership, I called to make sure the car was still available. The first person I spoke with put me on hold for ~10 mins and then sent me to voicemail while they checked on the car. I called back and the next guy said the car had sold yesterday. I asked if he was sure because I was under the impression it was still available earlier that day and also the online posting was still up and he confirmed that yes, it was sold yesterday. He didn’t seem overly reliable as he didn’t take anytime to actually look it up, so we decided to drive to the dealership anyway since the car was still listed on the website and the person I had the appointment with hadn’t reached out about it being unavailable. When we arrived and spoke with her, she confirmed some of my information and mentioned that she saw that I had prequalified with Capital One for financing. She then left to “speak with her boss since it was late at night” (it was 7pm and they closed at 8pm, so this seemed odd). She came back a few minutes later and said that the car had actually sold an hour ago but there was another car (older, with more miles) that was for sale that she could show me. I thanked her and said that I was only there for the car I called about and we left. We parked in the Pre-Owned lot and when we walked back to our car, I noticed a similar car in the lot. It had about 200 more miles than the car I had been interested in, was about $200 more also, but it was the same year and model. I called the dealership from the parking lot and asked if this car was still available since it was so similar and I was told that this was the same car. When I mentioned that the mileage and price didn’t match the posting, they didn’t seem to care, and repeated that it was the same car. So in conclusion, scheduling an appointment for one of their cars is pointless as it doesn’t hold the car in anyway, if the car is sold before you get there you will not be contacted and will have to drive up to be told, either the employee who said it was sold yesterday or the employee who said it was sold an hour ago was lying, and the miles (maybe price) on the vehicles doesn’t match what the have online (I realize it was a difference of about 200 miles but it was 200 MORE miles and who knows how accurate the rest of the inventory is). I would highly recommend not wasting your time trying to deal with John Eagle Honda. More
I worked with Maribel and she was an angel! We were able to purchase our vehicle from the comfort of our home, they honored a trade in offer we received from Carmax and she brought us our new vehicle and to to purchase our vehicle from the comfort of our home, they honored a trade in offer we received from Carmax and she brought us our new vehicle and took our trade in to the dealership. Lied about service and PUT THE NAIL BACK IN THE TIRE SIDEWALL after charging me. I went in to have tire pressure and alignment checked. They told me I had a nail. 4 HOURS LATER, they returned my ca SIDEWALL after charging me. I went in to have tire pressure and alignment checked. They told me I had a nail. 4 HOURS LATER, they returned my car and said it was patched. The tire WAS NOT patched. In fact, they had put the nail back in THE SIDEWALL and sent me out with it. When I reached home I noticed the tire was almost completely flat. The nail was still in the sidewall and they had charged me for the service. I have called three times since I left. They have not returned my call. They never did rotate the tires either. More
