I have always felt that Johnson City Honda was a premier dealership and my wife and I went to them to buy our 2008 Honda Odyssey and have returned for all of our service and parts needs. We were in need of new tires and had to have them within twenty-four hours in order to make our departure on our four week maranthon trip of over 3000 miles to attend family graduations, birthdays, and vacation. Jason Derrick, Parts, had the tires ready at 0830 hours and Will Campbell, Service, saw that the tires were on the van at the promised time and had the van washed and standing tall for us to drive safely on our trip. We are planning on the purchase of a new van in the near future and definetely will be returning to Johnson City Honda, where the price is right and the service is great! It certainly is "The Johnson City Way!" More

He made sure we felt comfortable with our decision and got us a great deal on the car! His friendliness and courtesy helped us feel comfortable at the dealership and buying my first car. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and did everything in a time-efficient manner. The salesmen who helped me were Chad Lewis and Ryan Martin, both of which were extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. They were not annoyingly persistent like most car salesmen but rather genuinely friendly and wanting to help. I will definitely be doing business with Johnson City Honda from now on and I recommend other people to do the same if they want high quality. More

My experience with Johnson City was overall a good one. Lee Hostetler was the one that I dealt with the most. He was very professional & knowledgeable of this job. I bought my Odyssey in 2008 from this dealership and have been bringing it back for regular service since then. All the service people I've dealt with have been courteous and helpful. But a year or so ago, I happened to start my visit at Lisa's station, and from then on, I always look for her when I bring the van in. She is so friendly, and really great about explaining exactly what's going on with the service or repairs. It's nice to be recognized and warmly greeted. She's up front about how much time it may take, and quick to arrange a ride if I need it. Several times she has taken the time to look up past service records to help clarify things for me. She is honest about which things need to be done right away, and which could wait a little while. Simply put, she makes what is usually a chore into a pleasant interaction. In my opinion, it's the best customer service I've ever had. My daughter just bought a used car, and knowing that our Honda dealership takes good care of us made me so glad when she ended up choosing a Honda Civic. More
I'm a college student in Johnson City and started coming to Johnson City Honda to have my car serviced instead of going to my dealership back home. Since I've started coming to JC Honda, Lee Hostetler has to Johnson City Honda to have my car serviced instead of going to my dealership back home. Since I've started coming to JC Honda, Lee Hostetler has always been my Service Advisor. He's always a pleasure to deal with and an upstanding guy. All of the employees treat me like family but Lee always goes above and beyond for my car's service needs. A few weeks ago I had an issue with my car's navigation system so I came to the Service Department to diagnose the problem. Lee, as usual, went way beyond what I expected to help me out. It turns out I needed a special part ordered. Lee spent that afternoon and the next day finding a part and making sure it was shipped immediately. He called me as soon as the part got in and scheduled me as soon as possible to get it installed. He kept in contact with me and answered my questions every step of the way. I also decided to have my tires changed as well; I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. Lee informed me after they took the tires off they noticed how bad of a condition my brake pads were in. Lee's commitment to not only going above and beyond when it came to my navigation system but to inform me of my brakes shows trustworthiness and a commitment to his customer's safety. Instances like these reaffirm that I will never go to another dealership for any of my car needs. Having a Service Advisor that you can trust and rely on is everything. It's good to know that in today's world there are still good people who are open and honest with you. Hands down, Lee is the best. More
The reason I gave the rating I did was because of the way I was treated when I came into the Service Department. Mr. Hostetler was the only available service advisor at the time of my arrival. I approached him and told him I was here for my scheduled oil change appointment. When approached, he did not seem very welcoming. After a few minutes, he started in telling me that I did not need to need to seek assistance from him and that I needed to have my VIN number ready when I walked into the Service department. Once he was finished getting my car ready for service, I saw a male approach him. He smiled and was extremely friendly to the young man and did everything he could to assist him. Mr. Hostetler also told the young man about this website, but did not tell me. When my car was finished, he handed me my keys and said that everything was ready for me to leave. I did not appreciate the way his tone, attitude, or his lack of concern. This is the second time he has been rude to me. The first time I didn't think anything of it, because people do have bad days. The first time happened over a phone call. This is very below Johnson City Honda's standards and should be addressed. I have been coming to Johnson City Honda for maintenance for nearly a year and this is the only service advisor that has every treated me this way. Normally, all the service advisors are extremely helpful and do what they can to help. More
