The truck that was meant to be. Just last week I purchased a new 2016 Tacoma from Johnston's. I had been searching for the right truck for months. Close to a year. They are super har Just last week I purchased a new 2016 Tacoma from Johnston's. I had been searching for the right truck for months. Close to a year. They are super hard to come by, especially in manual. Ellissa was very helpful replying to my many emails checking in on inventory. When they got the perfect truck on the lot I made my way over only to find out it had been sold! Kelvin was very helpful in talking me through my options - whether to wait, order, try for a trade with another dealer, etc. But in a stroke of luck while I was there the other buyer fell through! Even though I was an obvious "desperate buyer" they still gave me a great price - as good or better than I saw at other dealers. Lynn was great in financing as well - only reason for the 4/5 instead of 5/5 was that he misquoted some numbers. Just an accident I think but still I expect people in finance to get that right the first time. All in all a great experience. More
