Turning in a lease I have puchased Toyotas from johnstons for over ten years. I recently made the decision to buy a different car. I still love Toyotas but just found a different car that was too good to pass up. I turned in my lease at 5pm and realized that I had left some important items in my car. I called johnstons at 9am. I spoke with Pattie who said they were in a metmeet took my info and said she would call me. 3 hours later I called back and spoke to Pattie again this time she asked if I bought a new Toyota. When I said I didn't her mood changed and she became rude and refused to help. A few hours after that I called and spoke to drew who was the rudest individual I have ever dealt with. He said I "was not a priority". I chose not to buy a Toyota on a whim and I am sure I will buy another Toyota in the future but I will never be a customer of Johnston again and I will encourage everyone I know to shop elsewhere More

And our questions and concerns were answered we were treated like human beings not just a number. Brian's goal was to make us happy and to get us the best deal possible which he succeeded. Lipstick on a pig! I purchased a certified 2015 Highlander, paid top dollar for it, got it home and found the vehicle had previous body damage to the drivers door that w I purchased a certified 2015 Highlander, paid top dollar for it, got it home and found the vehicle had previous body damage to the drivers door that was haphazardly repaired, a damaged passenger seat cushion and bad brakes, along with some other minor issues. I guess they missed a few things doing their 160 point certified inspection? When I took the car back the next day and pointed out the problems, the service tech told me "what do I expect, it's a used car? Well, I bought a "certified" car that is suppose to be in "like new" condition. After ranting with the service manager and the sales manager, they finally agreed to do the repairs, but never took care of the other smaller issues. I called to make an appointment for a "free" oil change included with the sale and a mechanic to check a problem with the car, but would have to wait about two weeks and over 1 1/2 hrs at the dealership. I asked for drop off service and was told no, because I was more then 10 miles from the dealership, but I could "rent" a car for the day. I live 9 miles away according to Mapquest. Be very cautious if you're buying a vehicle, because the sales manager gave me a printed quote to sign and the numbers were off by $400, in their favor. When I caught it, the manager came back with the corrected price and said his computer program must have been off. Hmmmm! He also promised to throw in a used cargo liner and cover, which I never got or will see, because it wasn't written in the contract. I traded my car in and two days later they sold it for "twice" the amount they gave me. Sucker! Did I learn a lesson? Yes, I will NEVER buy another vehicle from Johnston's Toyota and I hope you don't either! The new modern building, innovated service center and uniforms mean nothing, because you're still dealing with the same old xxxxxxxx. All it is, is "Lipstick on a pig!" More

While I looked at other suvs and almost purchased a crosstrek whenbit came down to it, I purchased another RAV4. In using Johnston’s where all of my siblings have also purchased their cars, I knew I would feel most comfortable back there. I work with Danny and he was fantastic. He was patient and made the whole process seamless. Once I finished all the paperwork I knew I had made the right decision. Thank you Danny for such a great experience.
