My husband spoke to an individual who explained the process and what we should expect. We made sure our car was pristine (under mileage) and when we arrived at Johnston Toyota we were initially told by our salesman that he didn't need to appraise our car and or have anyone look at it. I explained that we were told that someone would look at it to find its value (what if we were trading in a SUV that had been abused), he took my keys and said he would have it appraised. That never happened, yet he gave us an estimate purchase price of the vehicle without anyone looking at it. I asked about getting a better rate because my credit rating was much better then it was 3 years ago. I was told that my credit rating didn't matter (this salesman is the same man who we leased from initially and he specifically told me that my credit rating played into the rate (I had a credit rating in mid to high 600s due to overextending myself and I now have a rating above 820). There was absolutely no incentive for us to turn in the SUV early from the figures he was quoting us. I was disappointed, felt deceived and quite annoyed that we wasted our time and was not planning on going back to Toyota. We received another email for Debbie Daidone advertising a special. My husband called Debbie who was not available and spoke with a woman (I believe her name was Patty), who assured us the advertisement was legitimate. We made an appointment and she assured my husband we would be very happy with the salesperson. Gabriella was excellent. We told her what we wanted and she let us know what was available and walked us efficiently through the process. She was upfront and knowledgeable about the car. She quoted a price that was advertised, walked us through everything and was very pleasant to deal with in this purchase. John Paul was quick efficient and we left the lot with a beautiful new car and our Bluetooth up and running due to Gabriella. She was great!!! I would recommend her to anyone. More

Purchased 2018 C-HR - certified used car with 10,000 miles. Brought my 2015 Corolla S in for service on a Saturday and needed to order parts. Service tech (Blair Schiesser - he is awesome) said he'd have to p Brought my 2015 Corolla S in for service on a Saturday and needed to order parts. Service tech (Blair Schiesser - he is awesome) said he'd have to put me in a rental until the part came in. Rental person was going to rent me a Yaris. She had the paper work all filled out, and I asked if I could change and rent a C-HR because I might be interested in buying one, so this would be a good opportunity to drive it and see if I like it. She redid the paper work and I got a C-HR from Saturday to Wednesday. I had to go to Saratoga (150 miles) right after leaving the dealership, so got to drive on the highway and country roads up in the Saratoga area. Drove home at night. Loved all the safety features, fun to drive, love the high tech look/design of the vehicle. Ride was comfortable and girl friend likes it better than my Corolla S (Barcelona Red, beautiful color). I didn't want and/or need AWD, so front wheel drive is good enough for my, I see other people complain about that. I see other people wish it had more horsepower like Volvo, BMW, or Porsche, 144 horsepower is good enough for me, the extra horsepower cost you an extra $10,000 , don't need that, maybe if I was younger. I bought my 2015 Corolla S from Chris Cabral when they had the dealership in Monticello. Chris was recommended by my girls co-worker and friend. Enjoyed the purchase of the Corolla and enjoyed the purchase process of the C-HR, every aspect was excellent and fun actually. Why shouldn't it be, hack you are buying a car you love, hopefully. it should be fun and exciting. I highly recommend CJ and Chris Cabral and Johnston's Toyota. You guys do a wonder job! Car shopping at Johnstons Toyota is a comfortable experience I just took delivery of a 2018 SR5 4runner from Johnstons Toyota. I origionally went into the dealership to just browse the new 4runners... as my 2008 I just took delivery of a 2018 SR5 4runner from Johnstons Toyota. I origionally went into the dealership to just browse the new 4runners... as my 2008 4runner had 226,000+ miles on it. It still ran like new... but I was curious. The people in Johnstons were all very friendly and helpful, and the salesman (Dan) showed me several versions of the 2018 line... At my request they worked up a trade in value for my vehicle towards a 4runner I saw on the lot that was pretty much how I like it. (not too many bling options). A total package deal was presented to me (no pushy tactics... just informational) and I was left to ponder the idea for the next couple of days. The deal was very favorable, the trade in value fair, and I decided to pull the trigger on it, (as once the 2018's are gone... so are deals like this). The paperwork, delivery, and closing of the whole process was as enjoyable as can be expected when making a major purchase :-) The truck is great so far... which is no surprise. More
