I just went out to check the work and found my LF caliper leaking and the bolts that hold it on were just about on their last thread that was holding the caliper on. Poor work! Very dangerous!

Warren called yesterday and before I hung up on him he wanted to argue with me that I did not see oil leaking out of the caliper. He told me it was "FLUID" not oil. Enough said on this- Second he told me that the tech did not note on the ticket that the caliper was loose or the bolts were not tight or falling out. ????? That's why it was towed up in the first place! Is the tech blind? As my blood pressure went up I asked for a manager to contact me. After calling and leaving several messages for a couple different people I have had no call backs yet. I still want the remaining 2 calipers flushed that were not covered under warranty but the way things are going I think I should take it to a qualified service center that can work on a Ram truck. I'm not going to pay Warrens price of $200 when coupons from Jones show it costs $139.95 to have all four calipers done, and as I said two have been been done covered under warranty already. Read, learn, stay away! BBB, CPA here I come

The truck has been returned to me repaired. The first thing I realized is I didn't want to drive it home. I have lost the trust of service. I've had an electrical recall done with bare wires left hanging near the grounded frame and failure to tighten the FL brake caliper on the last two major repair visits. I think the service ticket showed only 52 miles driven before I found the problem with the caliper on my last visit. With Jones techs that can't finish their work and having a "safety check" done on every invoice not finding the mistakes, I need to find a certified Ram Cummins repair center. After around 6 phone calls asking for assistance with only one return call, thanks to 40 year veteran of Jones, My Larry Kroff. who offered to help. Even though you have invited me to have you involved every time my truck comes in for service and giving me your cell phone number, the time invested in fixing the issues your techs create, the hassles and the safety issues involved and after 6 "SIX" years of the same type of incidents reoccurring, I'm done, and like I said, I should not need to have a manager involved every time I come in. To me this is confirmation that there is a known problem in service that just can't get fixed. I couldn't get a invoice that said that the caliper was tightened even though I specifically asked Warren for one. When you recognized the paperwork was in error and that it was not fixed it's just another point that the follow through in service does not exist! When I have fear and concern about driving my truck home not trusting the service work, it's time to go somewhere else. Having the need for Rachel's help for the electrical problem and your help for the caliper issue, where does it end? Like I told you, I couldn't purchase a Subaru for my wife on her birthday telling me to bring her in and then we will talk. So much for my surprise, thanks! Jones dealership's never earned this Jones for a lifetime customer.

8-27 Here we go again, Went to pick up my truck for the diverter valve being bad again, Autobutler reapp, oil change and N49 recall. After talking with parts I have the part reserved for my recall. The work was not done. Oil change not done and Autobutler could not have been done due to the dirt on the truck and the brake dust and dirt that was still on the front rims! Even the service rep noticed! They did fix the diverter valve in the hvac system again after 1200 miles from the last repair with a new firmware upgrade that was a past recall that they said was done before. I started reading the papers for the service and my service writer said "Don't try to read that you will never make sense out of it"! They tried to get it passed me without being noticed! I can read and I pointed out all the things that were not right. I pick the truck up later today,,, after another new service ticket, we will see if they are able to locate my truck this time, and finish the work. I am still asking myself why do I keep going there, and why would you!

8-27 14:45 2nd attempt to pick up my truck. I did call to check to see if it was done. After speaking to Gary, He assured me that it was invoiced out and that all items were done and it was ready to pick up. I drive up and after 15 min waiting and a few questions of who told me that it was ready I was told it was in autobutler and it would be a couple more hours before it was finished. So now I have 2 trips to pick it up with a 3rd coming and 2 hours and 15 min invested to again be told it's not ready. They told me that Gary did not know it was in autobutler,,,, I think Gary is the service manager, if he is not responsible to know what's going on, WHO IS???

Third time's a charm. It looks like everything's good,,, except for someone's lost key ring that I found in my truck. Turned it in to the service advisor, someone else may like to have it back! They even cleaned the windows, can't see out of them but I will fix that tomorrow! What really amazed me is when I turned around the truck was waiting for me! It has been a long time since I didn't need to find it first to drive it home. Thank you for finally getting things right! Until next time------

10-23-14 just turned 16k miles and after taking the truck on vacation I needed to return to service due to the truck pulling right and weaving not wanting to stay in the lane. The long drive to and from vacation showed there was an issue with the alignment. They said a front end alignment was done at the time of the recall tie rod replacement but when they looked at it again another alignment was called for. Working with Dave Fulco, he kept me informed for time needed and what was found. This is VERY rare for me to say about Jones, but I feel like this was one of the only service trips to Jones that I have nothing to complain about! With all my negative encounters, Jones deserves to hear about it when they get it right! While it would have been nice for the alignment to be right the first time, Jones made it right by redoing the alignment at NO CHARGE! Thank you! I am looking for more positive trips to Jones like this one. My expectations were met and they delivered.

09-02015 Two additional safety issues have been found. Loose lugnuts on 2 wheels. The anti theft nuts were found not tightened when I had tires replaced. One other needed to have the key welded to the nut to get it off! Only one was torqued correctly. Double checking under the truck after a brake flush, I found wires that go to the fuel filter had been cut most likely due to a recall that was done on a different appointment and they were not repaired causing a safety issue. Connections were bare and it looks like they have used regular heat shrink instead of the better bonding type for extreme environments like under the truck. It was found with electrical tape unwrapped falling off with bare wires exposed, Heat shrink unused. I am surprised the tech doing the brake flush missed it. The wires changing to a different color from the splice gave it away. This is the last straw for me. Two more safety issues I can't overlook anymore. STAY AWAY I did get a call from Ms Zimmerman from Jones in regard to my last post addressing some issues. I hope to bring this to her attention as well. The Subaru service center is great. STAY AWAY from the Dodge service on the West side if Rt 1.
