I visited this dealership to look at and test drive a Scion XB not ready to purchase for about a month. I explained all this to the salesman and he seemed fine with this. He took my information insuring me it was just for his records and he would keep it private. I specifically asked him if my credit would be pulled and he said no, I also specifically asked that it not be pulled yet because I didn't want a lot of unnecessary inquiries. I use a credit monitoring website and saw that it had been pulled and my score had dropped 6 points this was the only change other then total outstanding debt going down. I called and spoke with the sales manager who was apologetic and insured me I would be called back and it would be taken care of within a business day. I did not hear from them at all within the next business day. I called back again on the next business day and asked for the sales manager again as soon as I started to explain he transferred me to the sales man who had helped me who admitted I had specifically asked him not to pull my credit. He said he would look into it and call me back I left him with my fiancees phone number because I was at work, he called him back about 30 minutes later and started talking to him about a body kit he has asked about in the e-mail, he then had to explain our problem for the 4th time again he said he would look into it and call back we had not back from him by the end of the week. I called again today and spoke with the sales manager and explained for a 5th time. He pretty much told me he had a signed credit application and that this would not drop my score 6 points. I explained I work in lending in the financial industry and I know what it can do to my score. He said he will look into it and talk to the sales manager that was on duty that afternoon. I tried to leave my fiancees phone number and he refused to speak to him about this. My next call to them will be from my lawyer. I'm sick of dealing with these idiots and recommend you don't even waste your time. More
My complaint is with the service, I took my Matrix 2003 in 2 yrs ago due to inadequate heating (my car on 0-20 degree temp) would probably get up to 60 maybe 65, well SD said it was the radiator..it was re in 2 yrs ago due to inadequate heating (my car on 0-20 degree temp) would probably get up to 60 maybe 65, well SD said it was the radiator..it was replaced. My care still did not throw out much heat so I took it back and SD replaced my thermostat..well the car still did not heat. I was told that all Matrix had a complicated heater system and that the vents near the center did not heat up and the outside vents would only function at maybe 50%. I was not to place the fan on full and I should direct the heat towards my upper body or my feet..(do not do duel). Then I was told that a Service rep??would be in town and would explain it to me in more detail as how this system worked.( guess I am an !idiot!) I do not know anything about cars but this sounds to far fetched for me. The other thing as far as service I scheduled my car in Dec 24th before I left for my holiday..was told that this would give them time to figure out my "heating concerns" well I came to drop it off on the way to the airport and the dealership was locked up tight as a drum. My extended warranty ran out Jan 5 and I got a chance to get it in Jan 7th? needless to say my service was not covered. Misled39 More
I've been car buying with friends several times, but this was my first time buying for myself. After doing some research online, I had an idea of what I wanted and chose Airport Toyota due to its proximity t was my first time buying for myself. I was met at the door by the salesman, told him what I was looking for, and he got the ball rolling. Looked at a few cars, test drove one, and within 15 minutes, I had found what I wanted. What I particularly liked was the fact that he didn't try to influence me one way or the other. He was very laid back and let me make up my own mind. If I had questions, he was ready with an answer, otherwise, he stayed out of the way. The people inside the dealership were just as friendly as the paper work was processed. Everything was clearly explained and I walked out of there with the car I wanted, at a competitive price. I was expecting to feel pressured at many points during the process, and there was absolutely none. I haven't yet had to take my car to their service department (though I will soon to have cruise control installed) but I can say without question that their sales team is one of the best I've come across. More
The service department is the worse of all toyota service departments/dealerships I have experienced in Ohio and California. I have had toyotas for 23 years, loyal to them. However, after the service insults and plain inability to fix the squeeks, ratttles of a new camry, I sold the car and bought lexus. Stay away from this dealership! More
