I highly recommend him as a salesperson and feel he helped me get my life back together by taking me through the necessary steps I needed to make to purchase the exact vehicle I wanted after someone totaled my suv unexpectedly. He exhibited notable customer service and even helped me learn the new features of my new Honda after the sale was complete. I highly recommend this dealership and his sales team. More
Hondas Sell Themselves, but Good Customer Service Helps When I arrived at Joyce Honda, I knew that I wanted to purchase a Honda Civic. I have driven other vehicles, but my favorite has always been the 2001 When I arrived at Joyce Honda, I knew that I wanted to purchase a Honda Civic. I have driven other vehicles, but my favorite has always been the 2001 Honda Civic that I had for a few years while I was in college. Honda vehicles are known for their reliability and affordability. Both of these characteristics are important to any American looking to make an intelligent purchase on a vehicle. A car is an expensive purchase, and we want to make sure that we can obtain the value of that vehicle through our everyday use of it. This is why a Honda tends to be a wise purchase, and this is why I had made my decision prior to my purchase. When I arrived at their lot, I reviewed their variety of Civic models. It was at this time that I had determined that I wanted to purchase a Civic EXT. Shortly thereafter, I was approached by one of their salesmen. I took the vehicle for a test drive, and I knew this was the vehicle that I wanted. I previously owned a 2015 Civic LX, and I had always disliked the acceleration. The EXT lacked this issue. After the test drive, I followed the salesman to his desk, and we discussed price and financing. What struck me immediately was the salesman seemed intent on selling me the LX. He disregarded his own benefit through commission, and he did what he believed was in my interest. I had the money for a down payment, and I had the income to afford the financing. He did not know this at the time, though. However, his behavior has continued to remain in my memory. Instead of trying to sell me a more expensive vehicle, he did what he believed would be in my best interest. This leads me to the title of this review, "Hondas Sell Themselves, but Good Customer Service Helps." Traditionally, we view salespeople with skepticism. It is healthy to do so since they have their own interests at stake in the same way that we have our interests at stake. However, I never felt pressured or uncomfortable during my transaction. The individual that assisted me over the course of almost an entire day patiently went through every minute detail of every vehicle package available. He spent the time to go through every financing option with me. He even recommended that I take a few weeks to review the competition in order to determine if this was the car that I wanted (perhaps the confidence that comes with selling a Honda). Again, throughout this time, he never pressured me or made me feel like my questions or concerns were unreasonable. To be honest, myself and the individual who accompanied me can be a real pain in the xxx; neither of us are hesitant to question anything and everything. We are not easy individuals to negotiate with, but the salesman never displayed irritation. He remained polite and courteous. Although Hondas have a reputation of being a wise purchase, the experience of purchasing my vehicle certainly added to the positive disposition that I have for their vehicles. I would certainly recommend Joyce Honda if you would like to consider purchasing a Honda vehicle. I understand that this review has been mostly flattering for Joyce Honda and the individual that I interacted with, but I do have one major criticism. While reviewing the vehicle that I eventually purchased, the salesman failed to adequately explain the features in the vehicle. This did not negatively affect my experience, though. My 2019 Honda Civic EXT actually had more beneficial features than I had expected. However, if he had attempted to sell this vehicle to someone that was undecided (unlike myself), it would have likely impaired his ability to sell the vehicle. I would also like to note that I purchased this vehicle at the end of June 2019. I have chosen to write this review at this time because I have concluded that after nearly 6 months, I am very satisfied with my purchase. Although I only chose to select a four star review, I would have given a 4.5-4.75 star review if possible. I did not think a five star review would be accurate because of the criticism above as well as a 5 star review would imply perfection. I do not believe that this is possible except in the most extraordinary (and incredibly rare) experiences. More

35 years of dealing with dealerships has not been fun. I must say this time was different. I worked with Trey, and Matt at Joyce Honda. 2 young guys keeping it real.
