We were concerned with our car engine racing when we were stopped. I called in the evening. Roland Murphy was extremely helpful and was able to get us in the next day. I was treated like a special customer from the time I arrived until I departed. The service was completed on time and I was informed of some additional maintenance requirements and given the option to a arrived until I departed. During my visit for an oil change and tire rotation, (it took more than an hour), I was told I need a safety inspection and tire alignment. I waited an additional 30 to 45 minutes to get the safety inspect took more than an hour), I was told I need a safety inspection and tire alignment. I waited an additional 30 to 45 minutes to get the safety inspection and four-tire alignment. However, when I was told the work was done, I asked if they also did the required emissions check. They did not. This didn't save me any time at all. I still had to go to a facility and get my emissions check done. Very disappointing to me that Honda did not check. We weren't planning on trading in our 2007 Honda Accord LX with only 47,000 miles, but through Joyce Koons' February marketing special deal we upgraded to a 2014 Accord LX. Our sales rep. - John - was very helpful in getting us exactly the sales price and trade-in value amount that we requested, which was above the Kelley Blue Book & Edmound's estimates. John was very friendly and easy to work with and has contacted us a few times after the sale to ascertain if we had any problems, concerns or questions about our new car. We have used Koons Honda of Manassas for servicing our 2007 Accord for the last two years and have been quite impressed with their Service Dept. & service staff. This was another reason for purchasing our new Accord from this dealership, i.e. its outstanding service department, since that is the department and staff that we'll interact with from now on. We were assigned a service rep. at the sale closing, so that when we need or have a service scheduled we are dealing with that one individual for assistance. Also, they provide a very good extended warranty if you have your car serviced at their location. More
