I had the best experience with the new purchase of my 2011 Honda Accord. Patrick and Gary went above and beyond my expectations of how my car purchase was going to be. There was NO pressure at all throughout the whole process. They informed us of all of our options and the impact each would make on us financially. They were considerate, kind and knowledgeable. They knew each product on the lot and were able to be efficient when it came to printing off the options within a 60 mile radius as well. They pulled the carfax for each vehicle for which we were interested. They went over the service plan thoroughly and the various warranty options/benefits as well. I am going to suggest purchasing cars from them to my friends and family. More
We had a transmission issue with our Odessey which was fixed to our liking but we also wanted a quote to fix our heated seats, which busted only a few years out of use, and our AC panel does not illuminat fixed to our liking but we also wanted a quote to fix our heated seats, which busted only a few years out of use, and our AC panel does not illuminate on the right hand side. Cost was outrageous and customer service was extremely poor. They did try to remedy the problem but I had to make the first step and contact them, they did not contact me back after I communicated back. The ball was always put in our court. My family will not take our vehicles back to Koons for sales or service. We plan to use another Honda dealer going forward for any service that our newly found repair shop cannot repair and we will go to another Manufacturer for our next car purchase. I hoped to put good news on this posting but unfortunately it would not be the truth. More
In July 2011 I purchased a new Honda Accord from Koons Honda of Manassas, VA. The experience was remarkable. The Sales Reprsentative, Sunny Haque, was knowledgeable, helpful and totally professional. The Business Manager, John Stapleton, was a pleasure to work with. He made this entire transaction very easy and simply to understand. He is a total Professional. I've owned a Honda for the past 40 years, always purchasing a new vehicle. I must admit that the "Team" at Koons Honda is the best I've experienced. I'm really enjoying my new Honda Accord. My service representative was extremely helpful and allowed my wife to be able to proceed on a trip using our van (we had to pick up six boys from camp!). The service was exceptional and timely - absolutely top notch. My only issue is with the battery for the Odyssey. The factory battery had a three year warranty and failed at ~30 months, and was fully replaced by Koons at no charge with a 100 month battery. When that battery failed at 25 months, I expected that the battery would be no charge, or at least prorated for the 25 months of use. However, there was a full charge for a new 100 month battery ($98.50). I did not have time to discuss this as I had to get my wife on the road to pick up the boys. However, I am very concerned about the quality of Honda batteries and the fact that we've been stranded twice before the length of the service life of the battery was even close to expiration. What is the quality issue with the Honda 100 month battery? We garage the vehicle and maintain all inspections and preventive maintenance and have never had such an issue with batteries. More
My service was only for an annual State inspoection, but I was teated the same excellent way as I had been when I had 30,000 checkup(over $500). We have 2 Hondas, both purchaesed at this dealership, a 2004 I was teated the same excellent way as I had been when I had 30,000 checkup(over $500). We have 2 Hondas, both purchaesed at this dealership, a 2004 Accord and a 2007 Element and have always had outstanding service. And I have owned cars since 1955 rate Koons the best dealership I have dealt with. More
My experience with the service department has always been excellent. Their service work is always outstanding, performed on time and at a fair price. All of the service managers I have worked with have bee excellent. Their service work is always outstanding, performed on time and at a fair price. All of the service managers I have worked with have been very pleasant and do a great job of explaining the work that needs to be done, things to watch out for and work that should be scheduled for future visits. Finally, I am extremely grateful for the prompt and courteous manner that all work is performed. More
When I called Bob Miner up at the last minute to have my routine oil change and brake pads replaced, I was taken care of immediately. I was completely satisfied with Joe's handling as to the repair on the AC for my 2005 Honda CRV. Although the repair (unit replacement with both cooling fans) was a considerable expense, Joe ensured I rece repair on the AC for my 2005 Honda CRV. Although the repair (unit replacement with both cooling fans) was a considerable expense, Joe ensured I received a warranty discount overall and a little more. I am completely satisfied with the dealership's interaction and servicng of my car. The new unit is working good and I assume it will continue to do so. I have maintained (through the Koons' dealership) the Honda servicing schedule since the car's acquisition as new from another dealership in August 2005. Given Honda's reputation for reliablity, I must convey I was surprised and disappointed in having encountered this particular problem on a Honda product. More
